Sharnie has a background in Science majoring in Psychology, she is fascinated by animal / human behaviour and interaction and how we can engage people in the protection of the marine environment. She brings a wealth of knowledge of experience previously working on the National No Shark Cull campaign. Malin has worked with elephant rescue in Thailand, run a shark saving campaign and has her own environmental education business called WildAware where Malin educates people about conservation and how to save this planet.If that isn't enough she has also started a community based beach clean up crew called "Northern beaches clean up crew" to get the local community together to pick up rubbish and educate others about what we can do to change our plastic footprint. Last but not least Malin is an environmental educator in schools.

Her poetry, short fiction, and reviews have been published in Best Australian Poems 2014, Southerly, Cordite,Griffith Review, and the Australian Book Review, among others.     Trevor Cracknell is a 32-year veteran of the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service based at La Perouse in the Botany Bay National Park in Sydney. Commencing as a Rescue Crew Officer in 1986, Trevor is one of the most respected & experienced helicopter rescue crewmen currently serving in Australia. He is also a fully qualified Air Crewman (winch operator) with over 3,500 flight hours of service, and now also holds the roles of Service Crew Chief and Check & Training Officer.
