Kim Thomas reflects on the memories she had with her son Earl Shaleek Pinckney. Though this isn’t the life she thought she would ever have to live, she is now advocating for a stronger community and continues to seek justice for Shaleek’s murder. Maritza R. Alarcón is anything but average! This Brooklyn native, grew up in a single parent home, but managed to stay connected to her very supportive father. Their loving relationship picked her up in her lowest moment, after going from a 6 figure salary to losing everything. Being an accomplice and investor in the things people are doing to further their cause. 2. Give People What They Need To Be Great and Grow. Just like you need time, space and energy to be great, so do others. Provide that as support to others. 3. Validate Their Stories. Pass on positive affirmations and good vibes.
