In these chapters we see the repeat of Saul and the repentance of Saul.  Saul continues his cycle of sin.  David leaves the country to find safety in the enemies of Israel.  Now David finds himself in a tough position.  If he doesn't go with his new protector into battle against Israel it will show his hand as one loyal to Israel.  Mean while Saul's heart melts because of fear.  If he feared God he'd never be afraid of anything he sees.  So he seeks out God, however God doesn't speak to him.  He runs to even more evil to get what he wants.  Grab your bible and lets study together!

In Genesis 19, Lot is lead out by the hand of the city of destruction.  Ricco leads us through the story of Lot and his family.  She looked back at the city after being instructed "don't even look back!!"  You are allowed to reflect back on the past, but you can't live there!  Ricco pours out his heart and teaches us to keep our eyes forward, and "stop looking back."   In 1 Corinthians 13, the Love chapter our friend Eddie begins to teach to us about Love.  Being an action, not an idea!  Love is something you do, not read about.  Then in John 15:9, love and Joy perfected!  Teaching us to abide in Love!

Welcome to our series of Revelation.  In this intro we look to the Author and the time and setting of the book.  Who wrote it and where.  John the youngest apostle from the Island of Patmos wrote this book.  After being boiled alive and by God's providence, still living.  This apostle is exiled to the slave island where he has the visions found in this book.  Grab your bible and lets study what the Alpha and Omega is saying to his Church!!

Therefore is the first word we look at in this section.  It's there because we use it as a hindge to open the next.  The things in the previous section will give us strength for the long road ahead.  If your shoulders are slumped and your arms are tired, knees wobbly and your hips are out of joint.  This section is for you.  The weary runner.  Grab your bible and lets study together!
