A good and wonderful song breaks forward as the infant Jesus is seen in the temple   Simeon and old devout man by the power of the Holy Spirit sees his redemption in the temple that certain day.  He holds hope in his arms and sings over him!  Simeon hasn't seen him grown, walking on water, nor seen him feed the masses with just a few fish and loaves.  However he had faith and sings from the place of faith!  Anna, soon finds Jesus and the young mother with her husband in the temple and she joins in the song as well.  Redemption has come for his people!  Grab your bible and lets study together! www.RiverSideFWB.com

In 1 Samuel 29 David and mighty men return to Ziklag after a discharge from the Philistine generals.  When David comes home however he isn't greeted by his family and his warm home.  He's greeted with ashes and ruin.  David and his men's camp has been ransacked.  The men are heartbroken and their families are all gone.  David even hears murmuring around him that most of the men are thinking of blaming him and killing him for their loss.  Instead of pulling political moves, David does something we must all learn to do.  We must learn to survive, but surviving isn't fishing, hunting or buidling shelter.  We must learn what David did when he strengthened himself in the Lord.  Grab your bible and lets learn together!
