Nice day today, 11C, might even take my bike out. THE TERM IS OvER! Now I’m just marking like a fiend. Isabelle has an opening coming up, so she is pretty busy. Hanging an art show is not easy. Jon had a great year at the U.

Recorded on a Saturday, posted on a Sunday. I’ve been marking. I’m not a marking fan. Isabelle has a thing over the weekend. The weather is weird, now it’s colder than normal. Still, as noted, not normal.

Lousy day today, only 3 degrees and raining. The term is getting closer to ending. I’m in the tunnel, I. can see a light. I’m not going to CO3 for the first time in 10 years. Isabelle is, as always, applying for grants. I saw my students’ honours thesis project poster presentations yesterday, they were great! I hate when they are stocking the shelves while I shop.

That’s because we have been eating more fish. Gross day today, 2 and rain. Had one of my favourite cashiers again. It’s been a busy week, lots of marking. I had a good meeting I can’t talk about. No, seriously a good meeting! Isabelle didn’t get a grant, but she keeps on trucking, you know she’s getting the next one.

Friday! Weather obsession continues… it is nice today (up to +7) but boy was it cold earlier in the week. I am trying to keep up on my classes. Getting the motivation to work out can be hard

Back to Friday. Really cold today, like -10, but it is supposed to go up to like 2 or something. This is the least harsh winter ever here. I’ve been doing out taxes. Isabelle as usual has a thing this afternoon. She’s going to teach people about rotoscoping. This is the last day of the break. I had a 70s nostalgia moment with my cashier.

TUESDAY?! Yes Tuesday, we messed up last week’s recording. We know Rob Lee isn’t complaining. The other Dr. Brodbeck is here visiting. It’s always great having Maddie here. Oh yeah, Isabelle and Maddie are watching somme show called ‘I Have Nothing’ Going up to +1 today, the ‘winter’ my be ending.

Friday is our day. The weird warm weather is still here, but it is supposed to go away by Sunday. Still, it looks and feels like April, it’s umm, weird, let’s use that again. I am marking. Isabelle is arting. Wasn’t too too bd today.

Another Fridaycast, as is becoming our custom. Isabelle ahs a student intern working with her, which is pretty great. Both parties are getting something out of it, which is how such things shoudl work. I am marking. I am literally marking right now, just waiting for a file to load. We got a new tentative agreement, let’s see if it is accepted. (Probably wil be). Did I mention that I am marking? There’s like no snow. but everything is fine….

Now that’s a title. Friday again. It’s weirdly warm, but no, it’s fine… We stopped off at Isabelle’s studio, you’ll hear some of that. Something good happened at work, can’t tell you what it is yet. Term is getting more easy to deal with. The city is trying to do some good things for Francophones, which is good.

Friday shopping? Again?! Well let’s see if I get this posted before Saturday. Work has been, interesting, let’s go with that. Isabelle has, as usual, a metric tonne of art stuff going on. Today will be super busy. There is a car parked in a field. By itself. Without any tire tracks. It’s -20.

I’m extremely proud of this title. Isabelle has sent her artwork to Sudbury to be shown, and it made it. Isabelle makes plastic. Seriously. Hopefully next week will be less hectic at work. I ran into my friend Brandon. There was nobody at the grocery store, we were supposed to have a big storm, hasn’t happened. I’ve added more stuff to my Plex servicer.

Back to Saturday. We had a freezing drizzle warning over night, so there was a lot of ice to scrape off of the car. The term starts Monday, I’m pretty much ready. Isabelle as usual has a lot of cool stuff on the go. Jon is also ready for the term. The Fringe is a big world wide thing.

Another Friday one, back to the regular schedule next week. Not super busy. It’s sunny and below freezing. It has been warm. We have no snow. We’ve been watching Twin Peaks. It holds up.

Hey it’s our last one before Christmas! It was, as you can see in the accompanying pic, not great. It wasn’t that bad either though. It’s unseasonably warm, and it is supposed to rain on Christmas. We’ve had the odd brown Christmas before. From us to you, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Weird week, heavy snow, then melting. It’s getting closer to Christmas! I bought the Meli Melo stuff. Isabelle is watching NYPD Blue. Lots of stuff changes throughout the show. She’s also making ink. I have a few things to do before taking a break. Cashed in my PC points this week.

So that was a fun week. On Saturday I found out I had COVID. Well, I’m all up to date on my vaccines etc so I was ok, though a couple of the days were very unpleasant. That said, I’m good now,, but boy did shopping tire me out. Isabelle always has stuff on the go. I got our turkey. Nice day today. Isabelle is looking for new traditions.

It’s Canadian National Day of Podcasting. An ‘even’t dreamed up by some people or something. Anyway, it is a time when you can hear, on Dec 1, a bunch of great indie podcasts. And this one… Oh we’re a day early, hopefully this will. not mess up Rob Lee’s schedule… I’ll be involved in six shows today, which is. one. shy of my record. Isabelle is making cool ornaments, you can hear about them in the episode, and, see one in the accompanying picture. THE TERM IS NEARLY OVER! As. such, it would be nice if the. printers at work, you know, worked. As usual, there’s a lot. of. art stuff coming from Isa.

This episode has nothing to do with puppets, but it’s a good title. We’re off to a thing tonight, so we needed wine, hence the LCBO stop. Isabelle is building a thing out of giant Mecano. The term is almost over. The. Alouettes won the Grey Cup. There is less of a connection with sports heroes than there used to be.

Se today it is a short one. Isabelle had a thing in the morning, so I took the bus to the store and Isabelle picked me up. The thing was an open house at her studio and others. I’ve got a lot coming up this week, tests and essays to mark. I thought I was going to miss my bus, but then I didn’t. Oh this was recorded Saturday, but released on Sunday.
