Originally discovered by Omid 16B with his grand prize winning remix of progressive house classic, "The Game", Beat Tribe aka Michael Stewart has gone onto remix the likes of Midnight Society, Peter Martin, Ariana Grade and more, release three full length LP's and create a niche all his own somewhere between industrial dance, deep house and tribal techno. His tracks and remixes push the limit of what "dance music" is and what it isn't.

i grew up in the 80's listening to bands like depeche mode and the eurythmics and then discovered freestyle which then morphed into industrial dance and then into house music. like everything else in my life, i am all over the place. i wanted to make a mix of something I would go out and dance to or the type of nightclub i would frequent in my earlier days.
