Born in Jerusleum and then lived in Russia with her Grandmother-then moved to Austin, Tx with her mom at age 5. She moved to New York at 18 to attend FIT. I found Amber Nelson to be a particularly kind, open personality. As a fan of her work it was great to hang. She's dealt with a lot of shit-her family was living in Saudi Arabia when she was born and quickly had to move back to the states when something heavy happened (listen to the show if you want to know!) Because of her experience in Saudi Arabia, she really valued education here which is the reason (I think) her life has turned out so well and she's not living in the sticks where she grew up. She's tough and can handle anything.

Dr. Lisa has a last minute guest cancellation - so she goes to the streets and finds Giani Onassis to psychoanalyze. Interesting fella! Has resolved some heavy anger issues from his childhood with a military man stepfather. Since Tom is around, Dr. Lisa takes the opportunity to let him know how her projection onto him has helped heal some of her authority figure issues.
