She's not the first person, I've ever spoken to about the residual effects of being exposed to domestic violence as a child, but I have not had a frank conversation with a woman from this background in terms of where she is in her relationships with men and dating EVER. I hate this photo of me—I think my face looks really fat and forehead shiny-oh well. Savannah Spirit started out organizing sex art shows and now she has developed her practice to where she is taking sexy photos of herself. Sure the sexy part is easy for her, but the art part is completely original, an erotic form all it's own. It was really interesting to have a direct conversation as to Savannah's experience posting erotic photos of herself. Matthew is from a family of brainiacs, his father is has been credited with helping create the field of molecular epidemiology, He makes very complex and beautiful work, mostly videos done with 3d modeling. In this chat, I came to understand that Matthew was dyslexic and instead of getting in his way, he used it as an asset. Also, he doesn’t have unrealistic expectations of what he can and can’t do.
