Simplicity in the deen. What is meant by Tassawuf and ilm Ar Zahir? When a noble becomes strong (in knowledge) he humbles and when a low person becomes strong he's proud. Humility is loved but isn't envied. Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى loves the saddened and humble heart.

Virtue in washing the dead. Passing rewards of good deeds to the dead and the living . How to explain the realm of the barzakh through hadiths. An insight to the believer's grave and why we shouldn't disturb the resident.

When the body is sick, no food nor drink benefits. Likewise when the heart is fond of the world, no talk nor revelation/wisdom benefits. In ancient times The Angel of Death arrived in human form. Our grave calls us 7 times a day and says, I'm a place of loneliness, a place of darkness and punishment, so have mercy upon yourself.

Navigating through the alluring world. Session 2 The excellent deal offered by the Lord of the Alamin, O Son of Adam (AS), if you're dutiful in your worship, I will fill your heart with spiritual wealth and remove poverty, if you don't I will fill your hands with work and occupation and fill you with poverty. Isa (AS) states that the one seeking the world is like the one who drinks salt water until it kills him. The key to contentment is to worship Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى. The capitalists lie by saying it's achieved through accumulation of wealth. However revelation says otherwise, so 'Whoever awakes in the morning safe with his family, healthy and food for the day, It's as if the whole world has been given to him.'

'I am in no need for comfort, I'm like a traveller that took a nap under the shade of a tree on a hot day and left therafter.' Ibn Qayium comments, 1) the greenery of the world is like the tree, 2) the diminishing world is like the shade which also diminishes, 3) the travel is the journey to your Lord. The one who is mainly concerned about the world is then afflicted by 3 things, his affairs will be scattered, poverty is between his eyes and he will only get what is written for him.

Why is death the ticket out of prison? It is a precious thing/gift for the believer and an atonement of sins. Are we failing to prepare for death and thus preparing to fail? Shaitan swears by Allah's سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى honour to deceive all of mankind. So call to the 'Al Ghaalib ' for protection from the 'Ghaa'ib'. Talk often of death to remind you of the afterlife and dislike of the world.

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 18 The Messenger ﷺ advises 3 Companions (Alee, Abdullah ibn Amr & Uthmaan ibn Mazhoon raa) who asked about how much they should worship... I ﷺ fast and I also take Iftaar I ﷺ offer Salah and I also sleep I ﷺ also marry He who turns away from my Sunnah is not of me ﷺ (Bukhari).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 17 A short reminder of the 27th of Rajab - The Isra & Mihraj. Hadrat Ayesha (raa) testifies to the vast knowledge of Abdullah ibn Amr (ra). ... Allah SWT will not snatch knowledge away from the people. Rather He SWT will take away the scholars and knowledge will be taken with them. They will then be left amongst the ignorant leaders who will issue verdicts to them without knowledge (Muslim).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 16 A Guardian for the unlettered... (Ahmad). The Messenger ﷺ is described in the Torah... You are My servant & My Messenger ﷺ and I SWT have named you Mutawakkil (one who relies upon Me alone). You are neither ill-tempered, hard hearted nor one who shouts in the marketplace. You do not resist evil with evil, but rather forgives and overlooks. Allah SWT shall never take him ﷺ from the world until he makes straight the crooked people by saying "Laailaha illallah.' By him ﷺ shall Allah SWT open blind eyes, deaf ears and veiled hearts (Ahmad). The Messenger ﷺ whilst receiving divine revelation would react as follows... Breathing would become difficult Face would become pale Feeling of weariness Feeling faint till the point of death Cold beads of sweat would emerge Teeth would clatter Sound of buzzing honeybees Surah's Hood (11), Waqiah (56), Mursalaat (77), Naba (78), At Takwir (81) have made me old (Tirmidhi). Whoever wants that he should see the Last Day

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 15 Abdullah ibn Amr (ra) seizes books on The Day of Yarmouk. 'Narrate from The Bani Israel for there is no harm'... (Bukhari). O People I ﷺ have been granted speech that is comprehensive, conclusive yet very concise. I ﷺ have also brought to you a Creed that is exceptionally pure. Therefore you need never be confused and allow yourselves to be deceived by the confused ones (Abu Ya'laa). One of the signs of The Hour is that evil people will be elevated and good people brought low. People will talk more and good deeds will be less & Al Mathnaah will be read to the people and no one will object. Al Mathnaah - any book based on a source other than The Book of Allah SWT (Haakim).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 14 During the reign of Umar (ra) the companions document the hadith. Umar (ra), Verily I want to write down the Sunan but I remember the people who came before you. They wrote books and then applied themselves eagerly to those books whilst they left the Book of Allah SWT. Thus by Allah SWT I will never cover Allah SWT's book with anything else (Baihaqi). Imam Muaawiyah (ra) relates, If Allah SWT intends good for a person, He SWT then causes him to acquire a deep understanding of Islaam... (Muslim). Umar (ra) advising a contingent heading towards Iraq, 'Do not preoccupy them with Hadith for it will prevent them from becoming well versed in the Quran...' (Haakim).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 13 Abdullah ibn Amr (ra) relates, I have memorised 1k sayings from The Messenger ﷺ (ibn Assakr). The Famous Chain of Hadith Amr ibn Shuayb ibn Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra). Initially the hadith were not preserved, this was later abrogated. The Sermon at the Conquest of Makkah was written for Abu Shaah (ra). May Allah SWT make radiant the man who has heard what I ﷺ have said and he has then preserved it in his memory until he conveys it to another. Perhaps the one he conveyed it to has a better understanding than him (Tirmidhi - Mutawatir related by 24 companions with 175 chains, recorded in 45 books).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 12 By the Star as it descends! Preserve knowledge by writing (Haakim) Imprison knowledge in a book (Kanzul Ummal). What a wonderful leader will her leader be and what a wonderful army will that army be (Ahmad).

Thus reflect, can replication be done then except for a matter that has already been settled? (Tirmidhi). Speaking ignorantly about Qadr is postponed now and will be done by the worst people of my Ummah in later generations (Bazzar). I fear for my Ummah after me the denial of Qadr and belief in the stars (Abu Ya'laa). Whilst sitting with The Messenger ﷺ, Abdullah ibn Amr (ra) felt a Bliss which he never felt before (Abu Nu'aym). Jibreel (as), Abdullah ibn Amr (ra) & The Messenger ﷺ sit together (Tabarani). Abdullah (ra) knew Syriac (Ibn Sa'd- Tabaqaat).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 10 Free will & Destiny. Many folk may fall into a trap in believing that 'my path and fate is thus sealed- hence my Lord has been unjust.' In a report, Abu Musa (ra) advises, 'Allah SWT will not be unjust to you,' view Surah 18:49. Do not suspect Allah SWT with respect to His Decree (Ahmad). Umar (ra) asks O Messenger ﷺ, is it a matter that has already been ordained or is it a matter that will be ordained as we go ? It is a matter already ordained! Why should we then exert? The Good cannot be obtained except by working! We will then exert our best O Messenger ﷺ (Ahmad). Belief in destiny removes grief & worry (Haakim). I recognise Allah SWT by the annulment of determinations, Alee (ra) (Al Fiqh Al Akbar).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 9 Why strive if everything is already written ? The Companions are rebuked for disputing Al Qadr... the nations before were destroyed due to this (Ibn Majah). Some people bear the knowledge of Islam but lack its understanding. He whose knowledge does not benefit then his ignorance will harm him. You are amongst the people of The Quran as long as it refrains you from the forbidden (Tabaraani). Amr ibn Al aas (ra) encourages the elders to make way for the youngsters so that they learn Hadith. Why should we strive if the matter is already settled - Al Qadr? Strive with your deeds for a middle course for the person destined for Paradise will die doing the deeds of the people of paradise - regardless of what he did before. A person destined for Hell will die doing the deeds of the people of Hell - regardless of what he did before (Tirmidhi).

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 8 Good deeds expiate evil ...Surah 11:114. Follow an evil deed with a good deed, for surely it will efface it (Tirmidhi). Hunger drives The Messenger ﷺ to sit and offer Salah (Ibn Asaakir). The grave of Abu Righaal.

Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al Aas (ra) Session 7 The Slinker who whispers in the hearts... 2 easy practices but few do it, ZIkir after the obligatory Salah and before sleep (Tirmidhi). But why only a few, shaytan will interject and distract with his slinking. Tasbeeh Fatima (raa).
