When you look at Jesus and the way he loved, you will see a perfect balance of both grace and truth. We tend to lean towards either grace or truth. Pushing towards a balance of the two can be difficult, but it will change the way you love those in your life.

If we want to experience true joy, we must anchor our lives in the sources of that joy - God himself. He offers us contentment and happiness that is not limited by circumstances. We can then share the joy in our lives with the people around us.

To love God and love others is the standard of God, which on our own, we cannot achieve. Because God first loves us, we can then take that love and pass it on to others. With God's love and presence in us, we can become more and more like Jesus.

All believers are called to share their faith with others. We can do that through how we live our lives and by the words that we use as we are His "ambassadors" in the world.

Jesus reminds us that we should strive to think bigger than our earthly lives and use our resources to strengthen God's kingdom. God is more concerned about the reasons we give than about the size of our gift.

You don’t just do the things that you do. The things you do eventually do something to you. And if you have ever built a good habit into you life then you know that you never wait around for motivation. You don’t do something because you feel like it. You do something in order to feel like it.

As a disciple, with the belief that God made everything and that everything belongs to Him, it should drive our obedience in offering God our time to accomplish His purposes.

The Holy Spirit gives gifts to every believer for the purpose of building God's kingdom on earth. We do not all have the same gift. In unity we are to celebrate the giftedness of others and work together to accomplish God's will on the earth.

We were created by God for community. We must make Biblical community a priority in order to accomplish God's purpose in our lives, in the lives of others and in the world.

If single-mindedness is the discipline of desiring God above all, then total surrender is the obedience consistent with that mindset. Surrender is not passive and it doesn’t happen by accident. Jesus’ invitation is to pick up a cross and follow Him daily.

The practice of single-mindedness is about setting priorities. This involves putting our past decisions and actions behind us. We must have a laser focus on Jesus and becoming like Him and then all of life flows out of that.

If we believe the Bible is the Word of God and can be trusted to guide us in the best and right direction, we must gain the skill and discipline to read, study, meditate on and apply it to our lives.

The one true God is a personal God who wants to be in relationship with us. Prayer is an intimate conversation with God. It involves talking, listening, and resting in God's presence. It is an effective way to know him better and find direction in our lives.

Throughout Scripture, believers in God are instructed to worship him. We can worship God from our hearts through every single breath, expression, thought and activity of our lives. Doing this habitually will surely lead us closer to the great and gracious God of the universe.

There is life after death. It will either be eternal life with God or separated from God. The only way into heaven and back to God is through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus is returning soon and we must live with eternity in mind as we share the love of Jesus with others.

God is the owner of everything we have and everything we are. When we come to faith in Christ, we turn over everything to him. God then turns to us and invites us to manage all these things according to his purposes.

God showed ultimate compassion toward humanity by sending Jesus as a sacrifice for sin when we did not deserve it. He calls believers to live a life of compassion to those in need because His love compels us to do so.

We were made in the very image of God with the express purpose of living in perfect community with God on earth. Adam and Eve rejected that vision and introduced death and separation from God, but God loves us and wants us back. Forgiveness and salvation is available to all who will receive them in Christ Jesus.

After Jesus' resurrection and ascension back to the Father, God created the church. The church is empowered by the Holy Spirit and God's primary plan for the church is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all nations until Jesus comes again.

When we believe and receive Jesus Christ as our Savior, our identity is then rooted firmly and permanently in our honored position as children of God. We do not live our lives to prove who we are, but to express who we are in Christ.
