God made a divine choice to bridge the gulf of sin between us and Him when he sent His son—to take on flesh—take on sin—take on death—and overcome them all. This Sunday we conclude our series The Christmas Remix as we study Philippians 2:1-18 in a message entitled Un-Holy Night.

The birth of Christ literally divides history in half. It a momentous occasion, so significant that centuries later billions of people around the world discuss His birth with words like “joy," “peace," and "goodwill.” Yet, the birth of Jesus does not find its significance by itself, instead it is connected to the work of God from the beginning to end. This Sunday we will continue our Christmas Remix series with part 3: O Come O Rise O Come Emmanuel.

For many the Christian faith is a silent, personal belief system, but God hasn’t called us to be silent: He’s called us to be light. The Christmas story was not a one time event confined to a manger in the little town of Bethlehem. The Christmas story is a movement that spans the centuries and crosses the oceans. Join us as we begin our new series The Christmas Remix with part 1, “Away from the Manger.”

It’s Thanksgiving: a time when we pause and thank God for our blessings and faithfulness. A person could live a 1000 lifetimes without seeing all that the prophet Daniel saw. Taken from his home as a young boy to Babylon, he had lived his years in exile serving the world’s most powerful men in an age of empires. In Daniel 9, the aging prophet reflects on his life and is reminded of something that we all need to remember: God is in control, and because of this, we find “gratitude in God’s certitude."

One of the great legacies of Daniel’s life was his persevering faith. As a young man, taken away from everything he loved, he doggedly held on to his faith in God. Later, when the world around him went mad, Daniel’s faith calmly and boldly prevailed. As an older man, Daniel’s faith continued even in the face of criticism and persecution. Join us as we continue our series on Daniel with a sermon entitled Surviving in the Lion’s Den.

Pride is odd in that it can be a positive word conveying love or admiration, or it can be a distasteful word conveying egotism, vanity, rebellion, and sin. When we drink from the intoxicating cup of pride we are blinded in our selfishness and unable to even see “The Handwriting on the Wall.” Join us as we continue our series Courageous, with a look at Daniel chapter 5 and a King named Belshazzar who illustrates for us the dangers of pride’s grip.

Have you ever thought about all the measures our society goes through to prepare us for fire? Toddlers play with fire trucks, firemen visit kindergarten classes, businesses conduct fire drills, cities require smoke alarms. You see fire prevention everywhere. But how do we prepare for the fires of faith: those moments when our faith gets challenged, stretched, and attacked? Join us as we continue our series Courageous looking at the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and how God took them through and delivered them from the fiery furnace (Daniel 3).

Do you ever feel like a lot of the people around you have lost touch with reality? The prophet Daniel could relate. Living in exile, he found himself surrounded by unrealistic expectations from unrealistic leaders. But in the midst of the craziness, Daniel was able to hear from God and bring solutions that honored the Father.
