    11/12/2018 Duración: 58min

Tricia Goyer joins me today and I have been anxiously awaiting the day that I could share this episode because I found it to be so helpful to me as a parent. Not only is Tricia the author to 70 books (yes you heard that right), but she is also the mom to 10 kids (you also heard that right). When she and her husband were on the verge of being empty nesters with 3 kids, they decided to start over. They have adopted 7 kids and some through adoption via foster care. If anyone has the experience to talk about parenting, it is Tricia. I invited Tricia to the show to talk about her latest book, Calming Angry Kids. This is a topic that so many of us struggle with—it is often what makes parenting so hard. We talk about how trauma is connected to why some kids are angry, how to not take your child’s anger personally, tools to help calm your child and how to calm yourself when you feel your temperature rising.  Sponsors: Teami Blends - Go to TeamiBlends.com and use the code SURVIVING for 20% off your order of $34.99
