Many people say that they are born again, saved or they are married to Christ. The question is, which Christ are they referring to? Christ himself tells us in Matt. 24:4 - 5, "And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in my name, saying , I am Christ; and shall deceive many". Paul also tells us in 2 Cor. 11:4, "For he that cometh preacheth another Jesus whom we have not preached". So, if this great deception that was prophesied has taken place, and it has, how do we know which Christ to follow? Think Tank, a YouTube channel, published a video on titled “7 Things You LOVE That Are Banned In The Bible”.  In the video the co-hosts engage in conversation about seven things that they say are banned in the bible.  They go further by providing the scriptures prohibiting the things on their list.  The list includes; bacon, football, t-shirts, gossip, tattoos, comedians and believe it or not sex. With this US Presidential election alot of people especially BLACK and BROWN people are voting, and saying we have to VOTE. The two running for the office of president have serious issues and flaws. Black and Brown people ovewhelmingly lean toward Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party, The brothers from the Body of Christ Church will discuss what is being choosen.

This Presidential Election maybe the most polarizing in the history of the United States of America.  Many people don’t care for either candidate but feel compelled to exercise their civic duty and vote for one of them.  Others won’t vote at all.  Still others have chosen a candidate they believe is the best choice.  However, those around them, sometimes family and sometimes friends, are in staunch opposition to their choice.  This opposition is causing stress and strife.  And based on reports these are not isolated incidents.  The strife exists across the nation including the workplace and home. This striving about candidates happens not only in the USA but in various elections around the world.  Sometimes the striving erupts into fighting.  In the worst cases the fighting evolves into civil war. There are rumors and reports of voter fraud and tampering.  When we see these acts in other lesser developed, less refined countries it is counted as no real surprise.  But it is surprising here, where America is

In the Dark, Shadowy world of Politics, success is not a matter of virtue but vice. The mere word “Politics” conjures up every negative and wicked imagination. Politics has become synonymous with lies, deceit, scandal, greed, corruption and evil. Sadly, this is no longer a matter of opinion but fact. That being said; many of us willingly play these political games in a Democracy ruled by hypocrisy.  Society as a whole has become so jaded with the political process that we no longer demand any semblance of truth, virtue or morality from our so-called leaders. As the power of Satan grows in the world, those who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ often wonder if they should be involved in the political process at all. When choosing political candidates it is often said that we must choose the lesser of two evils. But as a Christian is it EVER acceptable to choose evil? What constitutes a family seems to be ever changing in the United States of America and around the world. The word family conjures and image of a man married to a woman with children together. That image is still typical. But you also have the divorced man and divorced woman with children from previous marriages. You know the Brady Bunch type that became the new normal in the 70’s. Then there was the proliferation of single parent families and now same-sex parent families have become the new normal. What are your thoughts on the new normal same-sex parent families? More importantly what does the scripture say regarding this most recent new-normal family type?

Black History Month is a time to remember the struggles and honor the accomplishments of those who descended from a once enslaved people.  Many times we do not go far enough.  Many times, the only history that is taught begins at the enslavement of black people and NEVER goes beyond that point in time.  "Black History", as it were, always seems to focus on certain individuals or particular persons, but never goes beyond to discuss the true culture or heritage that a particular nation of people  of color had before they were enslaved by other nations of people of color.  Current history teaches us that "Africans" sold thier own people into slavery.  IS that true according to the Bible? Halloween is a day we were forced to celebrate, in slavery, along with many other days. Are these days that we have come to celebrate before "God" and his Christ holy? Is this a day that Jesus Christ whould have people whom consider themselves Christians embrace and participate in? Come join us as we talk about this topic

Halloween for so many people is an opportunity to have fun by Trick or Treating with children, throwing parties and dressing in outlandish costumes.  Traditional costumes include ghosts, goblins and witches.  The witches’ costumes have recently come under fire as being politically incorrect since the long noses and pointy hats degrade the Wiccan religion.  So are the witches’ costumes really wrong for Halloween?  Perhaps the answer resides in the original practices and culture of the celebration.  Or better yet, let’s search the Holy Scriptures for the answers concerning the costumes, the practices and the Day of Halloween itself.
