Sounders Pow Wow

Plenty of topic on deck for this one. Many minutes given over to the current hullaballoo surrounding the Seattle Sounders organization and one of the players employed by them. Combined with a question from the Pow Wow for our listener AND computer problems left us with few options for segment intros. Good luck.

It finally happened. A Sounders win, a Nouhou goal, a wager by the Pow Wow and no talk of coffee in any form. We did it!

Here there be a small bit of podcast before we take another couple week break (where on Earth did our consistency go?). After a harrowing June for the Pow Wow, we have made our way back into your earholes. You're welcome. Getting caught up on vacations past and future, predictions about the Cascadia match on home soil and attempting to figure out just how much each of us would pay for something SO valuable...

As if you didn't need more stress in your life, the Sounders are all square heading into the Final and only need to win to cement their place as the best team EVER. Tons of questions, a few answers and a strong desire to see the Sounders win. Plus plenty of F-Bombs for the kids.

The Pow Wow is giving it their all in this, the second episode of this season. Predictions, compliments, answers to questions and a discussion of what to expect as the season progresses. All that and more.

For the how manyeth time, we apologize for the lengthy bit between shows, but we made it back. And there's plenty to cover, so we barely do. Bring your predictions, play some Fantasy and ask us questions.

Plenty to discuss this time as it has been far too long since the Pow Wow got together and talked of Vegas, the Sounders and the NWSL. But fear not, we speak and record it. And that, yes that, is something.

Plenty of tidbits to discuss this week, not the least of which is the upcoming rebrand. How did we feel about Houston, what do we think about the Loons and how badly Jonathon sucks at Fantasy are all covered. Plus, questions leading to responses.

Vegas and Nashville played a large part into the delays in recording and also are a large part of the discussion (shocking, surely). The Pow Wow looks ahead at the game versus Colorado (briefly) and answers many plenty questions. Happy to be back infesting your computer.

Another game, another positive result. Depending, of course, on your definition of positive result. There is certainly something to be said about making more than a 1/7th of the way through the season before suffering a defeat. After a solid start to the first month of play in Major League Soccer, the Seattle Sounders face a tough, action-packed week, with two more matches both away and home against formidable Western Conference rivals in both San Jose and LAFC. What are the predictions and concerns of the folks here at Sounders Pow Wow? You still may not know after listening.

Certainly not the end of the 2020 season any of us here Seattle Sounders fans were hoping for, but Jonathon is able to offer up a couple thoughts on what happened. There are questions answered and back by popular demand a new Katy's Time segment.

After what may be considered the heart-attack inducing finish of the Western Conference Final match between the Sounders and the Loons, our boys in Rave green are off to play the final match in Mapfre Stadium. No doubt challenges lie ahead, yet the Pow Wow has endeavored to talk smack ahead of MLS Cup 2020. And answer a few questions. And embarrass themselves.

Ah, the sweet smell of victory on a Tuesday evening. The critics continue to discount the Sounders win against a short-handed LAFC, but at this point, shouldn't that be expected?
