And amateur astronomer Hilary Harper-Abernethy talks about the life and works of astronomer Caroline Herschel. Our invention of the month is the Laserphaco Probe, a device that uses lasers to remove cataracts, by Dr Patricia Bath. The Ada Lovelace Day podcast highlights the work of women in STEM.
