You’ve probably heard this “proof” of evolution: The fossil record starts out simple and grows increasingly complex the higher you go.

Jesus grieved over the sick and the dead. Why? Because these were intruders into his creation! It’s because of sin that death and sickness are part of creation.

When we reject Genesis as history, we have to say Jesus was wrong. But not only is Jesus God, but he’s also the eyewitness Creator. We can trust what he says.

When we allow God’s Word to be the authority, it inspires a high view of God, which inspires worship.

Death and suffering are consequences of sin. God’s creation was “very good,” but mankind sinned, and the punishment was death. We’re to blame—not God.

The New Testament warns against being blown around by every wind of doctrine. If we accept man’s word as truth, this happens.

After the global flood of Noah’s day, God gave the rainbow as a sign that he would never again flood the whole earth. This was his promise to mankind.

Does God view death, suffering, and extinction as “good”? What kind of a good, loving God is that?

Archeological discoveries from Bible times can help us as we study God’s Word. But always remember that God’s Word stands as the authority over anything else.

The Bible doesn’t portray events as if they’re myths. It uses historical narrative. Unlike other ancient sources, the Bible presents one true God, the Creator.
