It’s human to want to cling, but divine consciousness knows better. Like the seed dropping from the plant into the soil, when we open ourselves and give freely, abundance pervades for us and all we encounter.

We all have fathers , but maybe your mother did your father's job in his absence , or perhaps a grandparent or a surrogate father . Perhaps you were fortunate and experienced unconditional love from your dad. It's time for us to do our forgiveness work if we harbor any ill feelings toward our fathers. This morning we will touch on some challenging issues around fatherhood , and talk about the relationship we had with our fathers . Some of us blurred our relationship with God and our human fathers. Together we can clarify our relationship with God and with our fathers . This morning we will begin to live with a clearer understanding of a Father's love, and become vulnerable to taking in His Love for Us !  

As spiritual beings it is essential that we learn the power of spiritual truth and live it as best we can.  What we communicate to ourselves, and what we accept being communicated from the outside world, is crucial to our peace and happiness.  It is a necessity that we learn the ways to distinguish the true from the false and be free.

"What we are all more or less lacking at this moment is a new definition of holiness."       - Teilhard de Chardin Have you ever noticed how adept your mind is at labeling every experience?  Almost instantaneously, things are labeled as good/bad, welcome/unwelcome, and on and on... Over time, we start to filter life through these labels, obscuring our view of the beauty and sacredness that are alive and present in every moment.  We can begin to lose our sense of optimism. Expectancy gets replaced with anxiety and we trade our wonder for worry. The antidote?  Invite a sense of awe and wonder into your life and experience the sacredness that is here for you; right here, right now.

Spirituality isn’t about being content when you get what you want, or don’t get what you don’t want. It’s about being able to handle the outer and inner energies, no matter what they throw at you, from a peaceful and centered state.

Most of us live our lives day to day trying to do our best . We greet each day with energy and enthusiasm to do our jobs and fulfill our roles , such as parent , partner, worker, or friend. This is all good, however, beneath the surface lies our connection with Spirit, the origin of our lives. In this lesson, we will explore your origin and discuss how you can reconnect with a deep practical understanding of your oneness with nature and God. 

Let’s take this time together to connect with the creativity, intuition, and compassion that is the divine feminine. Whether our earthly mothers are in our lives or not—we recognize the loving presence that surrounds and nurtures our growth and well being.

Finding joy in a world of struggle can seem impossible. We may find ourselves ignoring the difficulties we face as humans in order to endure. When we face challenges, how do we handle ourselves? Do we revert back to old ways that worked before? Do we just grin and bear it? Do we just pretend that we are “fine?” Join Rev. Judy as we explore spiritual principles as we live in the now.

New Beginnings are exciting , and they can be scary for some of us ! What lies ahead after a new beginning? What will your life be like ? We will look at new beginnings, and hopefully discover how you can feel confident in your new beginning, knowing all things are working together to assure your success . You may have had many new beginnings in your life ;  did you experience the spiritual transformation which came with the new beginning ? New beginnings are the last phase in a three step process involving transformation. Let's talk Sunday about the transformation process and how you can have a successful new beginning whatever the circumstances may be. 

In the New Testament, Jesus changed the understanding of Divine Law when he said, “Blessed are you if you do, “ which was a stark juxtaposition of “You’ll be punished if you don’t.”  Adopting an attitude of appreciation and gratitude in all things this life has to offer will enrich us spiritually, emotionally and physically.
