Human curiosity and need for resources has pushed people to explore. Today we go over a period of time that lasted for hundreds of years and affects us to this day. The Golden Age of Discovery, we will over a timeline of various important events such as the discovery of Brazil and the introduction of chocolate.

A Brazilian hero and explorer Marshall Rondon was a larger than life legend He saved theodors roosevelts life, he protected Brazil’s indigenous peoples, explored the amazon basin. In 1913 he was shot in the chest by the Nambikwara Indians with a poisin arrow. He turned around and rode away. That’s just a small part of this amazing man's life. Candido Rondon was a truly exceptional person.
