07/03/2020As the new funding model comes out, the Federal government decides to give more cash to Private schools with NO mention of public schools, passing the buck to the State governments. More than 1 in 3 children do not have access to the necessary infrastructure to succeed in education. This tells the kids- your government does not care about you. The MYTH of Equality. Funding exacerbating the disparity between private and public schools with non-government sector schools getting a $3.4 Billion boost, while public schools get NOTHIING. Over 80% of disavantaged students go to public schools and 90% of disadvantaged schools are PUBLIC. Philanthropy is NO WAY to run an education system!
