Bill is one of our featured presenters at the upcoming USPTA Alabama workshop on Saturday, August 17 at Old Overton Club in Birmingham. Bill has been a tennis teaching professional and coach for over 28 years and has had the opportunity to work with players of all levels. He is a 3-time USPTA Tennessee Professional of the Year and 2-time PTR Tennessee Professional of the Year. He spent 9 years coaching college tennis where his players and teams were nationally ranked, making 3 appearances at the National Championships. Bill received the USPTA Southern College Coach of the Year twice and was also an Intercollegiate Award winner twice for his community support.

Tomas Catar is one of our featured panelists at the upcoming USPTA Alabama workshop on Saturday, August 17 at Old Overton Club in Birmingham. Our panelists will discuss, "Best Practices for Running Successful Events." Tomas brings unique perspective to the subject having played events all over the world as former #1 junior in the world and French Open junior semifinalist, European doubles junior champion, Davis Cup World Group player and 230 ATP ranking. Aside from competing in events across the world, he also coached ITF, WTA, and ATP players and a NCAA Division 1 team. He got to see a different side of the events from the coaching angle. Yet another perspective he is enjoying now is as a tennis parent to his daughter. Tomas is currently the Director of Tennis for the City of Fairhope and the President and Founder of the Gulf Coast Tennis Association.

Bob Cianchetti is one of our featured speakers during the TED talk session of our upcoming USPTA Alabama workshop on Saturday, August 17 at Old Overton Club in Birmingham. Bob has coached 29 teams to Adult League State Championships and is passionate about introducing the game to new players and connecting them with a group of other players of similar level to create team camaraderie and instill a love of the game. Bob has also been a team captain and player of teams that have won state and section championships, earning the opportunity to compete at the national championships.

Evan is one of our featured presenters at the upcoming USPTA Alabama workshop on Saturday, August 17 at Old Overton Club in Birmingham. Evan is the tournament director for the Alabama Open ITF Futures. He also serves on the USTA National Wheelchair Tennis Committee and was appointed the USTA Southern Net Generation Provider for Wheelchair Tennis.

Keith is one of our featured panelists that will discuss, "Best Practices for Running Successful Events." Keith has been the Tennis Director at Indian Hills Country Club since 1987, and is currently a volunteer assistant coach of the University of Alabama's Women's Tennis Team. Keith is a 6-time USTA Alabama Tennis Professional of the Year, 2-time USPTA Southern High School Coach of the Year, in 2012 he received the Industry Excellence Award by USPTA Southern for his contributions to tennis, in 2013 he was inducted into the Alabama Tennis Hall of Fame, and in 2014 he was named the Alan Henry USPTA Southern Pro of the Year. He is also this year's recipient of USPTA Alabama's Chrity Event of the Year for Keith's Classic and the Will May Jr. Doubles Tourney.
