    For a small enough island, we sure do pack a lot in! It’s been an incredible year for Irish sport, and for Irish craic. Over the year, we’ve spoken to Leona Maguire after her first LGFPA win, Vera Paw after Ireland qualified for the world cup, Karen Weekes who rowed the Atlantic solo and we met the Irish woman who won classic TV show ‘Gladiators’. We heard about the New York cabbie who flew to Ireland for a pint, met the 66 year old who went on a J1, learnt about Ireland’s martial arts and met Limerick’s biggest hurling fan. Cathal made a show of himself at a Paddy’s Day parade and we will never let him forget it. Pat Shortt shared one of his most embarrassing stories ever, we found out what happened when Olly Murs was drinking in Nicky Byrne’s local and met the Meath farmer who went to great lengths to keep cool this summer!

    When Noreen from Galway got in touch with Dermot and Dave, she'd had a pretty dramatic weekend. After bringing 12 year old Ruairc and sister Laoise to Dublin for the day to see the Toy Show Musical, they found out moments in advance that the show had been cancelled. To make up for the upset, they went to the Lego Store where they got some goodies. Which then ended up being left at the side of the car in the Heuston Station carpark, and then, poor Ruairc ended up in hospital! A fairly glum Noreen joined Dermot and Dave to ask for help, and needless to say...there might be a Christmas miracle!
