He got 1st place winner of the 2016 Laughing Devil Cup Comedy Festival in New York; the 1st place winner of the 2015 Yonkers Comedy Festival as well as the 1st place winner of the 2015 Make Me Laugh Albany Comedy Festival. He was also featured this year on videos for NBC, Buzzfeed, Refinery29, The Scene, Mic.com, FusionTV, and Huffington Post. Most recently he was also featured at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival New Faces Showcase. We talked about comedy, work ethic, what it takes to be undeniably funny among other hilarious things. This is a special episode where Justin and I talked about the issue of depression and share our thoughts/opinions on this matter based on the tragic death of legendary Anthony Bourdain. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) suggests that approximately 16 million of American adults had at least one major depressive episode in 2012. Also, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), 350 million people worldwide suffer from depression. It is time for all of us to recognize this problem and work toward finding plausible solutions.
