Believe it or not NYCFC Nation is still operational with Chris P being on vacation AND with the recent news that Jack Harrison was sold to Manchester City FC. We are all very happy that he's moving on to a new opportunity and wish him the best. We're stuffed from Thanksgiving and we don't have much NYCFC news EXCEPT of course on Monday New York City FC announced roster options for the 2018 season. Five players have had their options exercised – Kwame Awuah, Ronald Matarrita, Andre Rawls, Khiry Shelton and Ben Sweat. Who did not get their option exercised? RJ Allen, Frederic Brillant, Miguel Camargo, Shannon Gomez, Eirik Johansen, Mikey Lopez, Jefferson Mena, Sean Okoli, Andraz Struna, John Stertzer and Ethan White. Well, that's all folks. At least for the NYCFC 2017 season as they beat Columbus Crew SC to a score of 2-0 but that's not enough to push them on to the Eastern Conference Finals.
