  • K&F Show #40: Our Review of Keanu Reeves in “The Replacements”…..and We Have Sweet New Shirts!

    22/08/2017 Duración: 53min

We took a quick break from the Dukes to do a movie review, this time choosing "The Replacements" - the awesome 2000 movie starring Gene Hackman, Keanu Reeves, Jon Favreau, and a number of other greats - including Roy from "The Office" (I forget his name - the guy that was Pam's boyfriend before Jim Halpert). This movie is the story we all want; a chance to live up to the potential of something that we loved from our youth and maybe came close to achieving, but for whatever reason failed at, or it fizzled out, or it just ended for reasons we couldn't control. Keanu is honestly pretty good as a south-paw quarterback and it's a great movie full of inspirational one-liners you'll love to quote. Here's one for you: "Pain heals, Chicks Dig Scars, and Glory Lasts Forever." K&F Show Rating: 8 Corndogs The post K&F Show #40: Our Review of Keanu Reeves in “The Replacements”…..and We Have Sweet New Shirts! first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

  • K&F Show #39: Kibbe Drove a Real General Lee! Also, A Review of Enos Strate to the Top – S3 Episode 2 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    09/08/2017 Duración: 01h02min

I'll be honest. After driving a real General Lee it was tough to come down to reality to review a Dukes episode again, but we did it. With that established....this is the first time that a spinoff pilot TV show for the Dukes actually went forward. In this episode the stage is set for Enos Strate, Hazzard's only honest lawman, to depart on his own adventures. Boss fires him, some bad guys kidnap Daisy while she wears an alarmingly awesome tank top, Enos catches them, and then is hired by the LAPD to join them on his own TV series (something like that). He'll be back though when that series flops. The General jumps onto the bad guys car. Hijinks ensue. The post K&F Show #39: Kibbe Drove a Real General Lee! • K&F Show #38: Carnival of Thrills Part 2 – S3 Episode 1 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    27/07/2017 Duración: 01h16min

This is Part 2 of Carnival of Thrills and it picks up exactly where the last one left off; with Bo punching Luke, taking the General Lee, splitting up the family, and ripping apart the fabric of all that we know to be true and right in the world. Why? Because of the mis-guided love of a she-devil named Diane, that's why. Luke, Jesse, and Daisy won't quit though and prove to Bo that his fool hearted desire to jump 32 cars to impress a wack-o temptress would actually result in his murder and the chick leaving him anyway. So, in the grand scheme of things it's a total lose-lose. Then Bo and Luke reconcile and and do the jump together anyway. Because #integrity. Hijinks ensue. • K&F Show #37: Carnival of Thrills Part 1 – S3 Episode 1 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    19/07/2017 Duración: 01h18min

This is Part 1 of Carnival of Thrills, the biggest, scariest, most Bo vs. Luke fighting-est Dukes episode ever! Seriously, this episode is the one where an evil she-devil stunt show owner named Diane pits Bo vs. Luke, and Bo chooses her and jumping the General Lee over 32 cars over the family. The problem is...the she-devil is being outfoxed by the the first guy she snuggled up to to do the jump and he'll make sure that Bo and the General both fail in a miserable ball of 4th of July fireworks (i.e. he'll kill them). The episode ends with Luke calling Bo out, and the first haymaker is thrown. Oh, and the General is nearly killed. And Boss is up to something terrible. That too. Hijinks ensue. • K&F Show #36: Our Review of Hal Needham’s Epic Fable: “Megaforce”

    12/07/2017 Duración: 01h07min

So...we're in between Dukes of Hazzard seasons and decided to throw in another movie review to take a brief Dukes of Hazzard break. Finnegan suggested (more like insisted) that it be Megafoce, the 1982 epic movie that Hal Needham directed and starred in. Here's the good news: the movie has lots of crazy vehicles, a few funny lines, and stars Edward Mulhare who would go on to play "Devon Miles" from Knight Rider. Here's the bad news: there's really no other good news of note. The movie ends with a flying motorcycle on a green screen, and Barry Bostick wears a spandex (or lycra?) suit with no regards for underwear. Finnegan gives it 8 lazer-guided corndogs. Kibbe gives is a generous 3. Hijinks Ensue. The post K&F Show #36: Our Review of Hal Needham’s Epic Fable: “Megaforce” first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

  • K&F Show #35: Southern Comfurts – S2 Episode 23 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    06/07/2017 Duración: 01h17min

The "Southern Comfurts" episode is the final one of Season 2....and while it's full of crazy cornball crap, it's as weird an episode as it gets, and for some reason the General Lee gets painted green to go "incognito". Not camo green though. Just a normal, run of the mill, Crayola crayon color of green. Weird. Anyway, the Dukes also help a Southern family with the last name of "Comfurt" who come into a lot of money, only to lose the money in a pirates trunk in the back of a renal car. Boss Hogg tries to get the money, is kidnapped by some out of town bank robbers, and the Dukes save the day in a green General Lee. Did I mention that they paint it on the side of the road somehow? Hijinks ensue. The post K&F Show #35: Southern Comfurts – S2 Episode 23 of The Dukes of Hazzard! first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

  • K&F Show #34: R.I.P. Henry Flatt – S2 Episode 22 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    28/06/2017 Duración: 01h03min

There's an old saying that says, "A friend will help you move, and a real friend will help you move a dead body." In the case of this episode, that proves true. The Dukes aid an old (yet now reformed) swindler friend named Henry Flatt to "stay dead." He had previously faked his own death to hide from Boss Hogg as he'd swindled him out of a ton of money that was later used to start a Youth Shelter. Remember Otis the Drunk from the Andy Griffith Show? That Henry Flatt. The highlight of this episode is seeing the General drive with a coffin in it's trunk (containing a dead body, no less). Oh, and Rosco is back from the "Police Academy" now too. Hijinks ensue. The post K&F Show #34: R.I.P. Henry Flatt – S2 Episode 22 of The Dukes of Hazzard! first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

  • K&F Show #33: Mason Dixon’s Girls – S2 Episode 21 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    21/06/2017 Duración: 01h08min

Bo and Luke accidentally receive (and get caught with) the most heinous and immoral drug known to man in February of 1980: marijuana! An RV-living, motorbike riding, Trans Am convertible racing super stud detective named "Mason Dixon" is called in to chase them down and break up their drug ring...and he brings his two amazingly hot "associates" along who are the brains and the muscle of the operation. They all team up to catch the REAL bad guys in pure ham-bone car crashing fashion. This episode is one that you'll want to watch, over and over, and over again, because it was meant to the the intro for a spinoff TV series that never came to be. Hang-gliders glide, cars slide and slide, and ladies butts are patted for a job well done (it was 1980 - still legal then, I guess). Hijinks ensue. The post K&F Show #33: Mason Dixon’s Girls – S2 Episode 21 of The Dukes of Hazzard! first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

  • K&F Show #32: Return of the Ridge Raiders – S2 Episode 20 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    13/06/2017 Duración: 01h02min

Guess what? We finally have shirts available! Glory be! Check out https://teechip.com/stores/kfshow to order. Store closes June 19. Do you know who Hugh Hefner is? Great. Imagine that Boss Hogg wants to compete with Hugh Hefner with his own line of "Pretty Piggy" waitresses at the Boars Nest, a business model which has a fairly obvious path akin to Hooters, Tilted Kilt, etc. To fund his empire he must reallocate the tax payer subsidized grant that has been allocated to the Hazzard County Senior Citizens Center, which Uncle Jesse is vehemently in the process of saving, despite the fact that he'll never ever go there at any point in the future of this TV series. Anyways, his old moonshine gang called the "Ridge Raiders" are fighting Boss illegally, he tries to stop them, Bo and Luke get blamed, and yada yada yada. Solid episode, the General jumps (thank God), and hijinks ensue. The post K&F Show #32: Return of the Ridge Raiders – S2 Episode 20 of The Dukes of Hazzard! first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

  • K&F Show #30: Jude Emery – S2 Episode 19 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    26/05/2017 Duración: 01h15min

If there were ever a perfect episode of the Dukes, it's this one. Texas Ranger "Jude Emery" comes to Hazzard to track the leader of an illegal race car driving gang and (shockingly) recruits Bo and Luke to help him both find and apprehend the afore mentioned bad guy. Jude is super cool, travels with a suitcase that doubles as a guitar, and woos Daisy with his George Strait like charm. In return she wears hot pants and ends up saving he, Bo, Luke, and the rest of humanity in the process. Hijinks ensue. (FYI - Daisy is not wearing the uber-tight outfit in this episode that she used in Cannonball Run II. We checked.) • K&F Show #29: Find Loretta Lynn – S2 Episode 18 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    23/05/2017 Duración: 56min

We need your help! We need some general info to give to potential advertisers. We know - it's a pain...but it would seriously help us out. Click here to fill it out (please only do it once): http://survey.libsyn.com/tmcpnetwork Imagine this: Boss Hogg discovers that Loretta Lynn, the "First lady of country music," will be passing through the state of Georgia en route to...somewhere that probably doesn't matter. He uses the opportunity to force her to come to Hazzard where he can profit from her presence by selling wigs that make people look like her. It's a stretch, I know. Coincidentally, a trio of folk singers that were wronged by a Nashville recording company choose to kidnap Loretta, hold her for ransom, and then collect their lost music money back from the Nashville dream-stealers. At some point the Dukes get blamed and in righting the wrongs end up flipping the General on it's lid for some reason. Not to worry, the General is fine in the next scene. Hijinks ensue. • K&F Show #28: Officer Daisy Duke – S2 Episode 17 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    03/05/2017 Duración: 01h03min

Big News! From now until May 5, 2017 we are running a giveaway contest for a TRAXXAS Slash! Entry is free and easy. Visit http://www.kfshowgiveaway.com for details. This is classic "Hatfield-goes-to-work-for-the McCoy's" tale. Daisy gets fired from the Boars Nest when asking for a raise. Luckily for her, at that exact time the state of Georgia just put in place an equal rights memorandum that puts Boss in need of hiring a female police officer. You can see where this is going. Boss tries to frustrate her by having her do lowly "women's work", she then solves the big crime anyway and catches the bad guys, and it turns out she is a better cop than Rosco and Enos combined. Then she goes back to selling beer because the tip money of people looking at her legs is stellar. Not enough General Lee in here for our tastes, but it's good anyway. Hijinks ensue. • K&F Show #27: Treasure of Hazzard – S2 Episode 16 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    26/04/2017 Duración: 01h07min

Big News! From now until May 5, 2017 we are running a giveaway contest for a TRAXXAS Slash! Entry is free and easy. Visit http://www.kfshowgiveaway.com for details. A smart and super attractive "smart college professor" lady comes to Hazzard looking for a long lost buried treasure from a Union Army Civil War payroll to learn it's historical value. Unfortunately for her, thugs are waiting to catch her find the treasure...because they're greedy and just want the money in the box. Luckily, the Dukes intervene because they're the only ones who can decode the 120-year old map markers of the area as their ancestors settled Hazzard. This jumps immediately to Bo wrestling an alligator underwater, losing his shirt, then followed by a set of highly sheltered (yet fairly underdressed) twin girls trapping him to keep as a prize in their hidden swamp bugaboo. Basically, all you need to know is that the General Lee chase scenes were replaced with mild sexual innuendos, and Rosco is gone again and replaced by another dude.

  • K&F Show #26: Follow That Still – S2 Episode 15 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    19/04/2017 Duración: 01h08min

Big News! From now until May 5, 2017 we are running a giveaway contest for a TRAXXAS Slash! Entry is free and easy. Visit http://www.kfshowgiveaway.com for details. The Dukes help an habitually-making-moonshine-but-constantly-getting-caught friend of Uncle Jesse's by the name of "Hard Luck" after he steals Boss Hogg's new tank. Technically I guess it's an "APC" and not a tank, but who cares. It shoots stuff and drives on tracks. Anyway, Boss bought the tank to hide stolen cigarettes in as a place to resell them from. Hard Luck steals the tank to make his moonshine inside of it, thereby giving him a portable manufacturing facility that will be hard to catch by the Feds. As you may have guessed, he didn't know about the contraband cigs, the tank breaks down on the Dukes land, and the world will come to an untimely end unless they get rid of the evidence. There's not enough General Lee action in this one for our taste, but it's still good fun. Hijinks ensue. The post K&F Show #26: Follow That Still – S2 Epis

  • K&F Show #25: The Runaway – S2 Episode 14 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    12/04/2017 Duración: 01h04s

Big News! From now until May 5, 2017 we are running a giveaway contest for a TRAXXAS Slash! Entry is free and easy. Visit http://www.kfshowgiveaway.com for details. The Dukes pick up a hitch-hiking and (#shocker#) attractive girl who is on the run from her super wealthy but evil rich-guy father. Why? Because he is forbidding her to marry a lowly farmer, because farmers are poor, and poor people are stupid. As you may have guessed, the only way to morally right this wrong is to get the girl dressed up in Daisy's less-than-covering wardrobe, then do car chases all around Hazzard until something blows up. In the end, Daisy's Road Runner bites the bullet and Alan Alda's dad sees the light about humanity and gives Daisy a Jeep. Hijinks ensue. • K&F Show #24: Duke of Duke – S2 Episode 13 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    29/03/2017 Duración: 57min

So, the primary phrase to remember before we go further regarding in this episode is that "it's not incest." OK? OK. So, a non-blood related 3rd cousin of the Dukes named Gaylord Duke comes to Hazzard to claim his inheritance on a chunk of land left to him by an old uncle. He's an actual Duke too, making him Duke Gaylord Duke...which for some reason makes Daisy hear wedding bells and melt like Molly Ringwald over Jake in 16 Candles whenever she sees him. Again, not incest. Long story short, Boss wants the land himself to sell for a huge profit, the Dukes help Gaylord until they learn he's actually a con-man, and the General gets dusted by a Jaguar...then later schools the Jag to put the universe back into balance. Again, not incest. Hijinks ensue. The post K&F Show #24: Duke of Duke – S2 Episode 13 of The Dukes of Hazzard! first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

  • K&F Show #23: Arrest Jesse Duke – S2 Episode 12 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    22/03/2017 Duración: 01h04min

A team of super-attractive car strippers set up shop in Hazzard to steal parts off of cars and then sell them back to the unknowing owners. They drive old Army Jeeps to cover their tracks, which are cutely color coordinated. They also (for some reason) help each other to take cold showers in the woods. Boss Hogg ends up being the ring leader of the operation and finds a magical way to blame it on the Dukes, but has a change of heart when the ladies rip him off. The only recourse is to convert the General Lee into an off-roader to chase the hotty-lady-Jeep-driving-car-part-bandits. Rosco gets replaced by Boss's nephew Hughie Hogg who arrives in a white VW Bug convertible with steer horns on the front. The ring leader of the Lady Bandits has the hots for Bo. Hijinks ensue. • K&F Show #22: People’s Choice – S2 Episode 11 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    15/03/2017 Duración: 01h04min

RED ALERT: We need your help to get the attention of Coca Cola...our dream sponsor! Dukes Review: A long lost formerly gawky but now super-hot friend of the Dukes returns to Hazzard to run against Boss Hogg as the "Supervisory Administrator" of Hazzard. Why? Because her father was cheated out of the job in the past by Boss Hogg. Really though, who cares because we just need an excuse to get the General Lee into the air. Anyway, in this landmark episode Boss Hogg realizes that the job of Supervisory Administrator includes being the Dukes probation officer, something he didn't even realize he was (nor did they). The Dukes commit an FCC violation helping the gawky-but-now-hotty chick run her campaign. She wins and will never be mentioned again throughout the remainder of the TV series. Luckily for her she'll go on in life to star on the Love Boat. Hijinks ensue. The post K&F Show #22: People’s Choice – S2 Episode 11 of The Dukes of Hazzard! first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

  • K&F Show #21: Granny Annie – S2 Episode 10 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

    01/03/2017 Duración: 01h06min

The Dukes accidentally receive counterfeit $5 bills from local amazing artist "Granny Annie" who was producing them for herself to avoid the need to get her monthly welfare check. Boss Hogg somehow gets involved and sells the engraving plates to make the fakeroo $5's to a reall really bad guy. The problem? Boss didn't actually have the plates, because the Dukes stole them back after Rosco stole them from them in order to protect Granny Annie who promised she'd never do it again (it's complicated - it took me forever just to figure out how to write that). When the bad guy decides to kill Boss though, Rosco asks the Dukes to come to his rescue...and they do! This is the episode that proves the bad guys aren't really the bad guys and helping your neighbor is the best way to live. The General jumps a moving train. Hijinks ensue.
