Do you know how to find if a beauty brand is actually telling the truth when they say their product is “Green”, vegan or organic? The first step to find out is by turning the bottle and finding the INCI list (ingredients list). There you’ll be able to see what’s in the product and make sure the ingredients are really organic. Another thing that will give it away is the “best before date”. Organic beauty/ skincare don’t often last longer than 18- 24 months. If the “best before date” is a lot longer than that, that company might be using synthetic chemicals to prolong the product’s life. Another tip is to not trust the hype. It’s not just because a packaging looks organic and earthy that it actually is. You need to remove all your branding preconceptions. That’s how brands greenwash and cheat.
