Pastor Dave Frye 11/25/2018 We live in a culture who believes that if they dream it, think it, or pursue it that they can achieve it. They believe that whatever they accomplish is because of their intelligence, perseverance or focus. They do not see the full picture of why they have the wherewithal to accomplish whatever it is that they pursue.

Pastor John Dobritch 11/18/2018 James 1:17 - "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." God is the source. We are not the source. All GOOD things come from God. He is the source of EVERY blessing. God uses many instruments to give us blessings. All blessings have his fingerprints all over them. HE IS THE SOURCE!!

Trust and Obey Pastor John Dobritch As we walk through our trials, we MUST trust Him and continue to Obey His commands daily as we walk through the storms. There is no other way to build character in God than to walk through the trials he places in our lives. It is this adversity that strengthens us and teaches us perseverance. Psalm 42:5-11 “Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.

Daily Walking With God Pastor John Dobritch We know that we have salvation with Jesus Christ.  But this is not all there is to being a Christian. It is a daily walk with Christ that we must have. In reality, the longer we are Christians, the more we realize how much we really do need Christ. Too many times we are so focused on what we are doing in the world, we forget to spend time with Him. If it is not about Jesus, it is not about anything.

Pastor John Dobritch 10/28/2018 Psalm 24:3-4 Humanly speaking no one can ascend the hill of the Lord. “. . . There is none righteous, no not one” It is impossible for man to enter God’s presence by him/herself. We are only able to be included by the work of Christ. Our vindication is found in Jesus Christ our Lord. If you want to be able to ascend the hill of God, it will be ONLY through Jesus Christ.

Pastor John Dobritch 10/21/2018 Water is something we need on a daily basis from a physical standpoint. We need more of the Spirit of God and Jesus Christ on a daily basis. We need spiritual water every day. When we become dehydrated, we will get weak, we lose our strength. It is the same spiritually when we are not drinking the living water that is provided by our living God through the Spirit and the Word of God.

Pastor John Dobritch 10/14/2018 We would like Jesus to come now and establish His Kingdom Now. Our reward is coming and we will be changed. Just as Jesus had to go to the cross before He could enjoy that glory, we must experience the cross as well. It is according to God’s plan for us to bear the cross before we can be fully given the Kingdom of God.

Pastor John Dobritch 10-07-2018 We have a God who rescued us from the slavery of sin. He has forgiven all our sins — past present and future. We can turn from God in the same way and worship other things. When we place other things ahead of our One True God. We have created an idol. Satan still uses idolatry to turn people away from God. It is still of his most powerful tools to turn man from God.

Pastor Dave Frye 09/30/2018 When we become believers in Christ by faith, we become freed from the participation in Adam by sharing in the death of Jesus Christ, His resurrection, His nature, suffering, and glory. We become part of His body. We now share in the fellowship, ministry, and hope of the people of God which was anticipated in the Old Testament days. And we are living its fulfillment in the Church today.

Pastor John Dobritch 09/23/2018 Hosea 2:19-20 God is the one who ordained marriage. It is an institution that was established by Him. Therefore, anyone who participates in marriage is participating in what God has established. When we become Christian, we are betrothed to Christ. God takes this relationship very seriously for we become His bride.

Pastor John Dobritch 09-09-2018 Jesus was revealing to the disciples that he was not coming to immediately take rulership over the world. He was making it known that He was about to lay down His life. The disciples began to learn that he was going to suffer at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law and that he will be killed but will be raised again on the third day.

Pastor John Dobritch 09/02/2018 We are sealed with the Spirit of God. What does that mean to us as Christians? Have you ever had something notarized? That is as close of an example of what Paul is talking about. This seal is a stamp that makes something official.  When we choose to accept the truth of God that Christ is our Savior and that we need Him to be saved, we are marked and are sealed with the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of our inheritance into heaven.

Pastor Dave Frye As a Christian, I get frustrated, angry with myself and wonder how a righteous and pure God could ever forgive me time and time again. There are Christians who want to give up on their faith because they feel hopeless in their sins. How should we respond to sin? Why do I still desire evil when I love God?

Pastor John Dobritch 08/19/2018 We should pay close attention to the words that flow from our mouths. Day-to-day, many of us do not pay much attention to what we say. We just let the words flow without regard to the detriment they bring.

Pastor John Dobritch 08/12/2018 Without the Word of God, there is no way we can understand the nature of God. There are some things that we can learn from the creation of God but it would be very difficult to see His nature by observation of the world.

Pastor John Dobritch 08/05/2018 Once you become Christian, God begins to change you. If you are saved, you will sin from time to time but will not practice it as a way of life. There will be a difference from the old life you once lived to your new life.

Pastor John Dobritch 07/29/2018 Leadership in the Church is something that is very important. It is not there for itself. The leaders that God provides in the Church are servants of the Church and God. We are here for the benefit of the congregation, the people of God.

Pastor Dave Frye July 22, 2018 We all experience trials and temptations in this world. How do we respond to them when they interrupt our lives? Do we get angry or frustrated? Do we try to escape them as quickly as possible? Do we give in and go with the flow then deal with the fallout later? Do we just give up and have pity on ourselves? Do we complain to others around us in despair?

Pastor John Dobritch 07/15/2018 God has given us a different perspective on our lives. God has done away with our past and has given us a new life. To forget does not mean to wipe something from your memory.

They are liars and deceivers (1 John 2:22) 5. Those who departed the Church (1 John 2:19) The man of lawlessness is defiant of all law, is doomed to destruction, exalts himself over everything that is called God, and will demand to be worshiped.
