If you're not first you're last. Atlanta United picks up 3 points following the 1-0 win over Colorado Rapids this weekend and jump up 2 spots in the East. In a game that saw the return of Franco Escobar and Pity Martinez, was this a "quality" win to finally kickstart Atlanta? Is Frank de Boer in a better position following a favorable result at home? ATLUTD still have 2-3 games in hand over much of the conference, but with 5 games in 15 days, the team must capitalize on those opportunities and come away with points to have a shot at making the MLS playoffs. Where do we see Atlanta in the standings going into the dog days of summer and what changes can we anticipate based on the upcoming run of games? Will Pity return to River Plate? Will Orlando City finally beat Atlanta United AT HOME?! Tim and Kevin are here to bring you a weekly look at their hometown MLS team – Atlanta United FC. With this year being Tim Howard's last for Colorado, how much of the "blame pie" does Matt feel he deserves in the results so far? We talk about what gives Colorado their best chance to succeed against ATLUTD's struggling defense, and who we think comes out on top. Though the eyes of the nation may not be tuned into this one, it is an important match for both teams and fanbases that could act as a springboard for future success. Only time will tell who can climb their way out of the mess they find themselves in.
