As we draft we discuss the players, the situations, the teams each of us our rounding up - and then we review the teams at the end. Another day another mock draft! This podcast we draft a 12 team league that has PPR and rewards for long touchdowns and is a heavy yardage reward league. Good times ensure… we actually had such a good time, the recording went 3 hours long! Which is crazy for even us - so I have split this into two podcasts, this one is rounds 01 thru 04 and will be uploaded today (july 23, 2013) and then part two rounds 5-8 will be released on thursday. In this podcast we do a mock draft for a standard 10 team league. We draft thru 7 rounds and try to fill a starting lineup (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE) and we discuss the picks while we are taking them, and then review the teams at the end. This is part I of this mock draft piece, we will do 2 other drafts of a similar nature. We were all surprised to find out certain things about the teams we drafted and that others drafted. Mocks are a terrific way to see teams you construct that you like and ones that not so much - it's great to feel pain in mocks when a player you wanted gets picked - and you can see pairings at positions that you love and hate.
