When it comes to taking hormones, attention often goes to estrogen, progesterone and testosterone but there are two other hormones to consider: dhea and pregnenolone. These are usually thought of as “precursor hormones” that can be taken and then turned into estrogen and testosterone - and they can be. However, they both have actions and benefits of their own specifically with regards to comes to memory, mood and energy/stamina so they may have a place in your regimen.
