It’s Thanksgiving weekend. So, the store was a nightmare. Only the one stop today. Isabelle has some big stuff coming up. It’s the break week! So I’m off to London next week. Isabelle has been driving Jon to school. Jon doesn’t trust my ability to make a pie.

Hey a day early! We have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow, well mostly Isabelle does. We will be saying goodbye to an old friend. Isabelle did a reading at a ceremony for Truth and Reconciliation Day. Oh only one stop today. My (and Steve’s) Mad Men podcast will end soon. Isabelle is binging the Big Band Theory.

I think this is the earliest in the podcast that we ever came up with the title. The term is in full swing. Steve is in a hurricane. I will be on a podcast today. No M&Ms today, but LCBO. My bike is repaired. Isabelle got an old painting from Tom O’Flanagan and I got a Japanese pot! Oh yeah, if it needs to be said, we stand for democracy, we stand with Ukraine.

We’re selling our trailer today, hence the title. Isabelle has been busy with an exhibition. I’ve been busy with work. I’ve not been busy with cycling because I’ve basically worn out all of the moving parts. (Bike is in the shop, hoping for a tandem ride this afternoon). No LCBO, no gas this week. I’m happy the trailer is going to a good home, but it still is bittersweet.

Early one as Isabelle has a thing. That thing is a pow wow. It is at Sault College, where Jon now goes to school. Wait, did I say Jon? Yes I did, Jon came today as well. He had to pick up some stuff for a class. The weather is grey and boring. Jon’s first week went well. My first week had a couple of hiccups, but went ok. Biggest hiccup was the weird stain in my office.

It’s the last weekend of the summer, or the first weekend of the fall, sort of. Lost a bit of the recording today, so we may refer to something and it isn’t there… Nice day today, but it has been insanely windy. I start teaching next week. Isabelle starts next week too. Jon starts college next week, wild. Oh, I won an award!

Not too bad today, pleasant enough out. The sun sure is warm though. We talked about inadvertent stealing. Oh and Isabelle saw her friend who is running for city council. LCBO today for the first time in a bit. I don’t care if my pop culture references aren’t current. I do care if I do my job well. The sign, while not offensive, might be… Oh and of course, we stand for Democracy, we stand with Ukraine.

Super early one today, as Isabelle has a thing. Upside of going early, nobody is at the store. Downside, there’s one cashier. We went to MMPR, thanks for the ‘opening music’ @Shanebee. That’s a lot of travelling in a car, just saying. Only one stop at the grocery store today. External validation is a thing. I didn’t forget the toilet paper.

Hey, we went to #MMPR! We had a great time. Isabelle went and saw some art. We spent an hour in a Wendy’s. We have stuff from the garden. More stuff. Hamiltonn is weird to drive in. Hamilton is pretty weird for GPS too.

Cloudy as well. Programming note, off to MMPR next week, so no idea when 448 will come out. But really, what did you pay for this anyway? Isabelle is growing peas, and she explained her pea related twitter handle. We’re still COVID free, fourth shot Monday! Kids put their shoes on the wrong feet and just tough their way through it, which is sort of admirable in a way, but also pretty dumb…

Nice day today. Isabelle is constantly art working. I’m doing a lot too. Also Isabelle has a class she’s taking. What do you imagine our ‘regular characters’ look like? Has that impression changed once we described people? Didn’t have to go to M and M’s, went anyway. I now know what a woodland artist is, and you can see that in the accompanying picture. The weather has been generally really weird. Oh and it should go without saying, we stand for democracy, we stand with Ukraine.

Saturday but later. So it’s late, what did you pay for the podcast? We went to Hearst! We saw a friend. We spoke French. Damn it’s hot.

It’s a really nice day. Then I got to the store and realized I’d forgotten our bags. Isabelle returned with them. Then Isabelle tried to imagine Tom Merritt’s house. Bag. They moved the vermouth. Hopefully get on my bike today. Oh I put new brakes on my bike, and there is a picture any everything.

Nice day today. We went to Sudbury for a little trip. Rogers had a big outage yesterday. This lead to Interac being down, which was bad. I used cash today! Isabelle has a thing today. It’s been pretty cool this summer so far, Im not complaining but it its a bit odd.

Back to Saturday. Everyone and their brother was shopping today, I guess because yesterday was a holiday and, inexplicably, everyone shops like crazy adjacent to a holiday. Isabelle is enjoying her course, and painting in the car (not while driving). St. Jean was fun last week. Single use plastic bags are out, so it was like pre pandemic in there. Isabelle couldn’t find me any earrings, but she found some for herself. Why is it always windy?

A day early. Some really bad shit went down in the USA today. Today is St. Jean Baptiste Day. Tomorrow there’s a thing downtown, and we’ll be going. Last week had my birthday and Fathers’ Day. This week doesn’t. I don’t know if I’ll be going to the USA any time soon. I got a new charger for the lawn mower! We had a fire last night, it was fun.

Today is Fathers’ Day. It’s sort of odd that we have such a day. Kids day is all of the rest of the days. Isabelle has been really putting in a lot of work in the past week. Isabelle bought tickets to a drag show, she’s very excited! It’s been stupidly windy, so much so that I haven’t ridden my bike since Wednesday. The Canadian Grand Prix is today! Isabelle took part in an art sale, and enjoyed herself. I had a drink via Zoom with an old friend.

It’s convocation day, so this is a bit of a short one, and it is being posted well after it was recorded. Also, I didn’t use my phone for it, I used the old Zoom H2. Convocation is nice, but it is long. Congratulations to our graduates. Isabelle has been supply teaching. I’ve been podcasting I guess. I’ve been biking a lot. I actually can’t remember what we talked about, it was hours ago….. Oh yeah, it goes without saying that we stand for democracy, We stand with Ukraine.

Back to Saturday today. It’s nice out, 13 degrees, probably going to hit 20, very little wind. Isabelle has been teaching art. Isabelle has been teaching elementary school. I could not do that job. I’ve been riding my bike. There are job interviews I have to attend next week. Mask compliance wasn’t bad. I saw a friend in the grocery store.

Isabelle is back from her trip, I had a good week with Jon. Why can’t people have some class? The sign was different, yet non offensive. Jon had a big week too. It’s very nice out. I might drink Old Fashioneds today. Isabelle is teaching again this week.
