In America we love the idea of being self-reliant. We love the person who can do it all, the cowboy who doesn’t need anyone else. We love the man or woman who “pulls themselves up by their own boot straps.” But, in life, and especially in the spiritual realm, that doesn’t work. We can’t do it all.
