Jesus proves his divine identity by defying human expectations

Jesus' words are life-giving, but hard and they only way to hear them is to love Jesus more than anything else.

If we are going to come to believe in the Son, we must be drawn by the Father.

Jesus is the bread of life that satisfies forever. We can stop striving for bread that does not satisfy and come to him.

Jesus is the Savior we need, but He is not always the Savior we want. Jesus provides food for the masses but they want to use Him for their own ends. He provides comfort for the disciples and they gladly receive Him. What is our response to Jesus?

God's grace that saves compels us to give our lives away for others.

The grace that forgives your sin is the same grace that enables you to fight your sin.

Grace is God lovingly doing for sinners what we cannot do for ourselves.

Jesus is the Shepherd King who brings ultimate peace to the people of God through laying down his own life to kill the hostility that exists between God and man.

We will find the true meaning of our lives only when we look outside of ourselves to the matchless worth of Jesus, the Son of Man who comes from above.

God spends His greatest treasure, His One and Only Son, to rescue a world of hostile sinners because of His great love.

New Birth is necessary if you want to enter God's kingdom. The only way to get it is from the Spirit himself.
