Personalized learning - what is it? Core Four Targeted Instruction - break down whole group instruction into smaller groups of students. Dynamic and purposeful groups of students. After 7–8 students in a group, results taper off. Challenges of targeted instruction. Presence of small groups does not necessarily equal targeted instruction.
