WSLS 054 | Georgia Did Not Beat Ole Miss in Oxford
26/09/2016 Duración: 17minThe Georgia football team, along with two of our podcast co-hosts (Tony & Will) traveled out to Oxford this past weekend to see what the Rebels of Mississippi were up to. Tony & Will joined forces with the fine folks of Ole Miss to WIN the tailgate, however, on the field, UGA was not treated as kindly by Hugh Freeze and the Rebels. UGA lost 45-14 and it could've been much, much worse. Nevertheless, time to re-group and focus on Tennessee as they roll into Sanford Stadium on October 1st. WSLS 051 | UGA vs MIZZOU Preview, Favorite Sports Movies
14/09/2016 Duración: 01h19minWelcome to the Waitin' Since Last Saturday podcast, Episode 051 or Episode 9 of Season 2 Preview of the Dawgs SEC opener against the Tigers of Missouri. This time last week, us Georgia fans and the team were feeling pretty good about how the season began. UGA had just vanquished the Tar Heels at the dome, Jacob Eason looked every bit the part of the vaunted freshman that he was reported to be and Nick Chubb had a phenomenal day running the ball. Then Nicholls State happened, and now, leading up to Missouri, those feelings of confidence have gone out the window after a terrible 26-24 win versus a bottom dwelling FCS team. the #9 ranking is also gone and there’s a palpable feeling of trepidation as Georgia heads out to Columbia this weekend. Will, Tony & Scott break down how we see this game shaping up, we also take a look at some of the other SEC and national games of interest and at the end of this episode, we discuss our favorite Sports movies. Not as random as you might think because Will is not only a

WSLS 050 | Paul Harvey Edition, UGA Barely Beats Something Called Nicholls St
12/09/2016 Duración: 25minIn this episode, Will, Tony & Scott try to figure out what happened with Georgia as they barely defeated FCS team, Nicholls State 26-24 at Sanford Stadium on 09/10/16. Interesting, there were similar parallels between this game and the 2001 Tennessee/Georgia game, a game made famous from Larry Munson's legendary call, titled "The Hob-Nailed Boot" game. The game play was not similar, but what was similar was the final score, 26-24 and that is not a very common final score in football. But the fact that both games featured a coach in his first season (Mark Richt in 2001 & Kirby Smart in 2016), a freshman starting QB (David Greene in 2001 & Jacob Eason in 2016) and a trusted RB to seal the victory (Verron Haynes caught the winning TD pass in 2001 & Nick Chubb helped the Dawgs run out the clock to preserve the victory in 2016). Not completely similar, but fun to think about nonetheless. If you're an Arkansas fan, you'll love Tony's take on Bret's crazy coaching ways in his recap of their victory over TCU. Our
