What's next? God only knows! We would all agree that 2020 has been a turbulent year full of change. The challenge of this time has also allowed us to change our pace and take inventory of schedules and priorities. God is speaking into our hearts and calling us to take the next steps: growth, faith, hope, courage, grace, generosity, purpose, love, power, change. In our "What's Next?" series, we will look at how Jesus often challenged people to take those next steps and how God worked in and through their lives when they were willing to change. This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday.  What is “pentecost Sunday?”  Well, in the Jewish tradition it marked the celebration of the which occurred 50 days after the passover.  In our Christian faith, it occurs 7 weeks after Easter Sunday.  A lot can happen in 50 days!  This week we will look at Acts 2:22-41, which captures the moment that the movement known as the church began it’s outward progression.  Church is more than a group of friends, a building, or something you attend.  The church is a movement that crosses all boundaries.  Whether in-person or on-line, we look forward to worshiping with you

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they will be filled (Matthew 5:6).  Taste and see that the Lord is good.  How happy is the person who takes refuge in Him! (Psalm 34:8).  Be a house of worship this Sunday at 11:00 and join us live/online for worship.  We will sing, pray, study the scriptures, and encourage one another in Christ.  This week, Pastor Lash will continue his teaching on the beatitudes with a message entitled Fullness.

God often calls us to challenges that collide with our sense of fear and logic.  Challenges that unmask our insufficiencies and reveal God’s complete sufficiency. David was young shepherd living watching sheep and delivering food, when God called him to fight his fears and face the giant.  His story of courage and faith now stands among the heroes of faith.  

It was sunrise on the Sea of Galilee; the discouraged disciples had sat in the boat all night and caught nothing. Through the early morning light, they saw a man on the shore making breakfast. Then everything changed: the fish started biting, Peter found a new calling, and a broken soul found healing.
