Seat Time : The Online Show For The Offroad Enthusiast

The Dirty Thirty, a number I don't think we thought we would reach when starting the adventure that has been Seat Time. Thank you to all loyal viewers and we welcome all the newcomers.

As I sit here listening to Larry and his flask, we are starting to get our first rain in months in the DFW area. The only reason this is relevant, is because of the upcoming TORN race this weekend in Trophy Club, TX. That place is dusty within 5 minutes of a Tropical Storm, so I am happy for the racers that they are going to get a bit of moisture and something to hold down the dust for 5 minutes of practice.

The world of Seat Time has finally started to get back on track. I can't say I am completely back to normal after my trip to Europe, but everyday feels a bit more normal. Endurocross (Enduro X) was debuted as the last event at X Games 17 in LA, CA and we had the Rattlesnake National Enduro in Cross Fork, PA. With the Summer Solstice behind us, we are officially in Summer. With the new season and the warmer weather, there are many series taking breaks to keep riders out of the heat. We here in Texas are very appreciative of that. So, the coverage and episodes may be a bit short for a few months.

We had a pretty low key weekend. Some dinner with some friends, some movies and some swimming. Bloody and I finally got out to ride on Sunday for the first time together since last summer (for just play riding). We went to The Pit and had a grand time.

We have to start this off by saying congrats to our friends Karl and Dayna on their wedding this past weekend! We had a great time celebrating your nuptials and are very thankful to have been included. Congrats to Jordan, 'You Know Why!'

There was no way we couldn't do Episode 22 without referencing Two Two. So, thanx to Chad Reed for giving us something to inspire this episode off of.

For those who pay attention to professional sports that don't have to do with twisting a throttle, you are well aware that the NBA Finals have started. And we in Dallas are happy to see the Mavs back in the mix. Jordan was in and out because he wanted to watch Game 1 and that is his right; Unfortunately the Mavs lost Game 1.

20 weeks into 2011 and 20 episodes into Seat Time, that is a pretty amazing thing! Thanx to all our viewers, supporters, and friends like Sam Reynolds for helping us get this far. Sam made a great contribution to us for our 20th episode, Mickey's.Support the show

While getting ready for the Outdoors to start this upcoming weekend at Hangtown, I had some time to reflect on the 2011 Supercross Season. And I still have to say, it was AWESOME! But now I am moving onward into the year.

Vegas was awesome and now we are looking towards the Outdoors. This summers racing is gonna be AWESOME!

Episode 17, the lead up to Las Vegas.

Episode 16 was a bit off our beaten path, but I don't think that hurt us one bit. There was a little bit of a lull in the racing because of Easter weekend. Everybody has to get their holiday on, and that's ok by us!

Episode 15 was a good way to introduce (again) our pint glasses. As long as Jordan gives us the ok, they will be for sale in the near future (next week?!?!).

Episode 14 is titled Redneck Extravaganza from our Saturday Night up in Sadler, TX where Scratch had a BBQ on his compound. We had enough motor driven toys to kill a few drunken midgets. I wore a helmet after half the night was over, it was needed!

Part two of Episode 13... our coverage of the National Enduro in Kalgary, TX after we attended the Dallas Supercross. I was on row 13, and my whole day was trying to stay in front of Brian Storrie, I was not very successful. I had a great day though, it was all kinds of sandy, I had blood blisters and I got to ride my dirt bike. So, in the long run, it was a great time!Thanx to our Wingman, Jeremy, for driving Scratch and I out there. And thanx to everyone at the race for talking to me and being awesome! So thankful to have such a great family to see every race weekend!
