2019. What a year. If you were a Vancouver Whitecaps fan it started with some hope and ended with some hope, but the bits inbetween were certainly bleak at times. But elsewhere in Canadian soccer it was a year of excitement as the Canadian Premier League launched and the national team made some history before ultimately just falling short of taking a giant leap forward. We'll look back at the year over the next two podcasts. All the highs, all the lows, all the forgettable moments, and the stuff that will last a long time in everyone's memories. Another MLS season has come to pass and another Vancouver Whitecaps rival has lifted the MLS Cup. Sigh. One day people, one day... We were down in Seattle for Sunday's final as the Sounders took on TFC. We chat about the match and the main talking points coming out of it and how Seattle fared as a host city.
