A conversation with Logan Dish, a strategy and analytics associate at Google. At Google, Logan works on the Planning, Analytics, and Insights Team in PeopleOps and is doing a product management apprenticeship with Google Maps. Logan joined Google in July 2021 after completing an MBA internship there the summer prior. Before SOM, he worked for five years as a senior analyst at Analysis Group in Washington DC, working to create financial and economic models to value technology products and patents in litigation.  Logan is interviewed by Jackie Peszynski ’24 of Yale SOM’s Data Analytics Club. A conversation with Nate Heller, a Yale SOM alum with over two decades of experience in international social enterprise and development, including stints with the Peace Corps and the UN. Nate has spent 12 years building innovative distribution and finance channels for poor consumers in West Africa. Nate co-founded PEG Africa, a distributed renewables FinTech that revolutionized access to clean energy, touching the lives of over a million people. A conversation with Jessica Gallegos, a product manager at Google. Jessica works on Google Research’s Generative AI or Perception team, a future-oriented team that develops technologies to help machines perceive images, sounds, and other sensory data to understand the world. Jessica joined Google in 2015 and has worked on a variety of topics related to responsible technology, including solutions to mitigate issues like online misinformation, user safety and mental health concerns, and bias in AI. Prior to pursuing her MBA at Yale, Jessica worked at the World Bank and a variety of other places that allowed her to make a positive social impact. A conversation with Tom Ascheim, a longtime media executive. Tom recently co-founded the consulting firm Pith & Pixie Dust with fellow executive Tricia Melton. Prior to launching the firm in 2023, he served as president of global kids, young adults, and classics at Warner Brothers, where he led the global strategy for prominent brands like Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Turner Classic Movies, and Boomerang, in addition to three animation studios and the Harry Potter franchise. Before Warner Brothers, Tom was president of the cable network ABC Family, now Freeform, which he led through its major transformation and rebranding in 2016.  Tom is interviewed by Patrick Cressler ’25 of Yale SOM’s Media, Entertainment & Sports Association.

A conversation with Lynn Eisenhart, deputy director of the Gates Foundation’s $2.5 billion Strategic Investment Fund. Over the past decade at the Gates Foundation, Lynn has also served as a financial services program officer and advisor to Melinda Gates. Before Gates, she served as the vice president and group product manager at Washington Mutual and the senior manager of corporate strategy at T-Mobile. Lynn is interviewed by Neha Jain ’24.

A conversation with Andy Golden, president of the Princeton University Investment Company, known as Princo. Andy became the third president of Princo in January 1995. During his tenure, Princo’s endowment market value has grown from under $4 billion to nearly $40 billion. He previously worked as a senior associate in the Investments Office at Yale University.  Andy is interviewed by Sharan Subramanian ’24.

A conversation with Josh Wright ’98, the executive director of Ideas42, a nonprofit with the mission of using behavioral science to design scalable solutions to some of society’s most difficult problems. As part of his current role, he helped establish and staff the federal social and behavioral science team during the Obama administration. Prior to Ideas42, he led the Office of Financial Education and Access at the United States Department of the Treasury.  Josh is interviewed by Sharan Subramanian ’24.

A conversation with Alia Aziz ’14, a director at UBS Asset Management. Alia is an investment analyst on the U.S. large and mid-cap growth equity strategies team, as well as on the digital transformation equity strategy team, with coverage primarily on consumer sectors. Alia was the founding analyst at Spyglass Capital Management, a concentrated U.S. mid-cap long-only growth fund that launched in 2015. She started her career as the sole analyst at Edgewood Management, a concentrated U.S. large cap long-only growth fund.  Alia is interviewed by Sharan Subramanian ’24.

A conversation with Graham Browne, founder and executive director of Forte Preparatory Academy Charter School in Queens, New York. Prior to attending SOM, Graham was a consultant at the Bridgespan Group. Graham was interviewed by Omolegho Udugbezi ’23. 

Guy Guyadeen got a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley in 2001 and an MBA from the Yale School of Management in 2011. After graduating from Yale, Guy worked in investment banking at JP Morgan and in product management at various tech companies, including Google, Tapcart, and the video-streaming platform Quibi. Currently, he is a senior product manager at Google on the Android team and a part-time lecturer at UCLA. Guy was interviewed by Lisa Sternik ’22.

Bridgette Farrer Muir ’15 is the Founder & CEO of Arrange, a consumer platform built on top of a previously overlooked medium: the calendar. Prior to founding Arrange, Bridgette was a VP and founding team member at Common, where she joined as the second hire. During her five-year tenure, Common grew from an idea to the nation’s leading designer and operator of coliving apartments, with 3,500 units under management and 200 team members across 8 markets nationally.

Sue AnderBois ’13 is a program manager at the Nature Conservancy in Providence, Rhode Island. She is also running to be the next city councilwoman for Ward 3 in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to joining The Conservancy, Sue earned her MBA at Yale SOM.  She has worked in a variety of energy and social impact roles for the State of Rhode Island. She received her BA in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College, where she won a Dean’s Award for service to the community.

Billy Marks ’18 is a Leadership and Career Coach at The Sparrey Consulting Group. Prior to joining Sparrey, Billy earned his MBA at Yale SOM. He previously worked as a Senior Program Manager at J.P. Morgan, where he was also a Global Lead of the LGBTQ+ employee resource group. He received his A.B. from Harvard University, cum laude, where he majored in Language & Culture and Economic Development. Billy is interviewed by Omolegho Udugbezi.

Paras Malik ’10 is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions and Technology Advantage practice areas. She leads the Agile for Control Functions topic for BCG in North America and has broad digital transformation experience across geographies. She is interviewed by Evan Ding ’22.

Fed Panfilov ’17 is the strategic advisory lead for technology at Riot Games. Before joining Riot Games and graduating from Yale SOM with his MBA, he worked as a Project Manager at Oliver Wyman and received his MA in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.  In this episode, Fed discusses what a role in strategic advisory looks like, how to use your MBA to pivot into tech, and of course, some of his favorite gaming experiences. Logan Yonavjak ’14 is a financial services professional, entrepreneur, author, and angel investor. She's incredibly passionate about building businesses and guiding capital in ways that replenish, restore, and sustain our social, environmental, and economic systems to advance a more holistic future for all. Throughout her career, she has worked as a consultant to a variety of clients, primarily focused on conserving and restoring ecological systems. Most recently, she co-founded a sell-side advisory firm focused on food & agriculture called Provenance Capital Group. She has also held positions with Morgan Stanley, the Yale Investments Office, and CREO Syndicate.  In this episode, Logan discusses ESG factors in investing, women in finance, working in the Yale investments office, and the experience of co-founding her own firm focused on investing in regenerative natural resources. Tony Lynn ’14 is a Global Program Lead at Meta, leading strategy development, operations, and execution for Instagram's SMB Advertiser Growth Sales Programs. Yousef Aly is a second-year MBA student at Yale SOM. Prior to joining SOM, he was a management consultant for four years focused on the payments and fintech space. This past summer he was a Business Design intern at IDEO in their San Francisco office.
