    A juvenile black bear was spotted in the downtown area of Salt Lake City prompting much confusion and chaos. As bears do, it climbed over 30 feet up into the tree canopy where it appeared to begin eating foliage. The 'My County Rec Pass' went live last weekend, providing all Salt Lake County school-age children, ages 5–18, free, inclusive, and engaging recreational opportunities.
