Roundtable Rundown

In this episode the Roundtable Rundown team had the opportunity to sit down with John Thomas of USC Baseball. John played three years of varsity baseball at Harvard-Westlake High School in Los Angeles. As a sophomore in high school he was named defensive player of the year, Second Team All-Mission League as a junior (2015) and First Team All-Mission League as a senior (2016)...Hit .365 as a junior and .375 as a senior...Named MVP of the IMG National Classic as a senior. John is currently a senior on the USC baseball team. 

In this episode Roundtable Rundown had the opportunity to sit down with Valorie Kondos Field. Coach Val is widely viewed as one of the most important figures in the gymnastics world and one of the best coaches of all time. In this segment she spoke of her outlooks on life, what made her successful at UCLA, and how she got into coaching gymnastics without any experience. Though there are audio difficulties, this episode is a must listen.

This week's episode includes a reaction to the MLB's sign-stealing scandal, an evaluation of Joe Burrow and his future, and a farewell to Luke Kuechly. 

The Roundtable Rundown team had the opportunity to talk with tennis sensation Timo Li of Harvard-Westlake. Timo is currently committed to play tennis at UCLA and is a multi-time state champion in California. The tennis star spoke about his recruiting path as a tennis star and previews Harvard-Westlake's upcoming tennis season. 

The Roundtable Rundown team had the time to sit down with Pete Crow-Armstrong and discuss his baseball career. PCA is one of the top recruits in the class of 2020 and is committed to Vanderbilt. The guys had the opportunity to ask Pete about the baseball recruiting process, representing his country for team USA, and his experience being a student-athlete.

In collaboration with "The Three and Out Podcast", the Roundtable Rundown team had the opportunity to speak with Colin Cowherd, famous personality in the sports world. Cowherd spoke about current events in the sports world and gave some HOT takes per usual. 

The Roundtable Rundown team sat down with former Laker, Metta World Peace, at the Semel Institute at UCLA. The basketball star discussed the stigma of mental health and reflected on his basketball career.

The Roundtable Rundown team had the opportunity to sit down with Drew Reid, former Harvard Baseball player. In this episode the boys discuss the stigma of mental health in sports and how it is changing.

The Roundtable Rundown team had the opportunity to sit down with Harvard-Westlake center Mason Hooks. Mason is one of the top recruits in CA for the class of 2020 and is one of the key members of the Harvard-Westlake basketball team. In this episode the Roundtable Rundown team had the opportunity to speak with Hooks about time management and basketball recruiting.

The Roundtable Rundown team had the opportunity to meet with Rachel Brown, Harvard Westlake field hockey athlete, and discuss her career in field hockey athlete. Brown is a field hockey player committed to Yale and is ranked as a top recruit in California. In this episode Rachel discusses her life as a student athlete and provides insight into the field hockey recruiting process.

Exclusive interview with receiver for the Arizona Cardinals, Larry Fitzgerald. Roundtable Rundown sat down with the future Hall of Famer and spoke about his career as a NFL receiver as well as a former college graduate and how he balanced the two in his early years.
