To say that Axel Rudakubana was a violent kid would be a massive understatement. Even as a preteen, he frequently watched graphic videos of people getting killed and was obsessed with genocide. While in high school, he called a child helpline, admitting that he wanted to kill a kid that was bullying him, as he was expelled after admitting to bringing a knife to school 10 different times. Somehow, he was able to get the materials to make poison, as well as downloading a training manual from Al-Qaida. Now with his mind made up, he took a taxi under a fake name, stopping at the Hart Space, a dance studio where a group of little girls were doing yoga and making bracelets. Axel, wearing a hoodie and a face-mask walked in through the front door and did the unthinkable.

Tony Amati was someone who was considered to be highly intelligent, even exhibiting symptoms of OCD. After he graduated high school with Honors in 1994,it seemed like his whole personality changed. This supposedly normal guy had turned evil, recruiting his friends to help him rob a gun store. After they made off with a massive haul, Tony and his friends would then go around Las Vegas, shooting people, simply for the fun of it. After blood evidence linked him to one of the murders,he became the prime suspect. His two accomplices would be caught after they sold their stolen guns to undercover police, but Tony went on the run, using multiple fake IDs to avoid capture as he was even added to the FBI’s ten most wanted list.

The Briley brothers, Linwood, James and Anthony were growing up in Richmond, Virginia. Although the neighbors knew them as helpful, providing assistance with car repairs and lawn maintenance, the brothers would change once their parents separated. Their dad apparently kept his door padlocked overnight to protect himself from the three boys. In January of 1971, Linwood, only 16, aimed his rifle out of the window and shot his neighbor for no reason, killing her. However, his lawyer convinced the judge that it was only an accidental shooting and he only served a year in jail. After this, the three brothers along with another accomplice would embark on one of the deadliest killing sprees in the history of Virginia.

Gwen Graham arrived at the Alpine Manor nursing home in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1986. She then met Cathy Wood, her supervisor on the floor. The two developed a close relationship, as they eventually fell in love with each other. But their bond took a deadly turn, as they decided to kill the patients they looked after to strengthen their love bond. Cathy would be the lookout while Gwen smothered defenseless victims to death, as the two would make a game out of it. Guy Georges was rejected early on, as he was given away by his mother because of the attitude towards mixed race kids in their hometown. He was made a ward of the state, before he was adopted by a family who had 7 biological children along with 13 foster children. At 14, Guy started stealing food from stores and carrying a knife around. He then attempted to strangle his mentally disabled sister, before attempting to strangle his other sister with an iron bar. His foster mother was fed up and sent him to a psychiatric hospital. After he was released, he continued to commit crimes ,mainly stalking and attacking multiple women in the area. John Ewell was someone who felt like he was a victim of the justice system. He had two previous robbery convictions, which were now counted under the new “three-strikes” law in California in 1994. He was then caught trying to deposit a $28,000 check into his account, and was charged with check forgery, which would potentially count as a third strike, with a possible sentence of 25 years to life in prison. John pled guilty for a reduced seven year sentence. While John was in prison, his wife became a member of a group that worked to reform the Three Strikes Law, as she believed that his nonviolent third offense of check forgery shouldn’t count as a third strike. She even brought her gripes to the LA Times in 1999, bringing statewide attention to the issue as this played a huge part in the reduction of her husband’s sentence. After John was released, he joined his wife’s organization, becoming a hairdresser and a handyman, putting on a front as a reformed man, even going on the Montel Williams show to protest

Joseph Paul Franklin knew nothing but abuse from an early age, as his father was an abusive alcoholic and his mother barely fed him and rarely cared about him and his siblings. As a high schooler, he sought acceptance, so he read up on evangelical Christianity, then this soon evolved into memberships in the local Nazi and KKK chapters. The height of his value shift was when he read Mein Kampf, as this prejudiced text influenced him to start a race war, ensuring that the whites were on top. On the morning of June 23, 1990 in Bellevue, Washington, a McDonald’s employee was taking out the trash when he found something horrifying, so he ran inside and called 911. Police came to the scene and discovered the nude body of a young woman, but she had no visible gunshot or stab wounds. She had been posed in a strange way, as there was a large coffee cup lid covering her right eye. One foot was crossed over the other and her hands were folded over her stomach and they were holding a pine cone. It was clear she had been dumped there after her death. An autopsy showed she had been kicked so hard that her liver ruptured, in addition to severe head trauma and strangulation marks. The killer then penetrated her with an object after she died. Stephen Akinmurele was a young man with severe mental issues. After his parents split up he lived with his mother, who often had his grandmother over. Stephen’s grandmother was a strict disciplinarian and he grew to resent her. This seething hatred would stretch to encompass all elderly people in general. His hatred would develop into murderous intentions and it all came to a head on October 30, 1998 when he killed Eric Boardman and his wife Joan, who were both in their 70s. After he was caught and charged with their murder, more evidence came up that linked him to previous murders of the elderly, all while he was a teenager. On September 19, 1970, Areti and Dimitros Koularmanis and their three children traveled from Toronto to New York City for a family reunion. They were staying with his parents in their ground-floor apartment in Jamaica, Queens. At 4:30 the next morning, an intruder broke into the apartment and grabbed Areti, plunging his knife into her throat. She staggered out of the room, waking her husband before she collapsed on the floor. Areti died from her injuries and her killer escaped without getting caught. The man continued to break into homes after this until he was approached by police. He pulled out a pistol and tried to shoot the officers but the gun jammed. The man, now identified as Joseph Baldi, had several drivers licenses on him and was charged with attempted murder and theft. He was placed into a mental hospital to undergo treatment before his trial, but then he was moved to another facility. However, his new institution was not notified of Joseph’s pending charges and he was mistakenly released a month

Joshua Anderson was a kid with an erratic personality, so he had no issues with using violence to get even. It all started early as at 16, he was accused of shooting someone. But somehow the warrant was recalled after a month. A year later, Josh was arrested on kidnapping and battery charges. He agreed to a plea bargain so he was released after three months. A month after that, he was charged with shooting another person, but the case was dropped due to a lack of witnesses coming forward. Josh had a reputation as the neighborhood bully, striking fear into many of the residents in town. Frank Matthews was destined for a life of crime at an early age. By the time he was 14, he had dropped out of school and was leading a gang of teenagers that stole chickens from local farms. He then moved to Philadelphia where he was involved in the illegal gambling rackets, making important connections that would serve him later in life. By 1965, Frank was in Bed-Stuy in Brooklyn, working as a barber, loan shark and enforcer for the Black Mafia. He attempted to partner with the Gambino and Bonanno crime families but they declined, so he met with Cuban Mafia members, with whom he brought his first kilo of cocaine. By the early 70’s, Frank was running a multi-million dollar operation, supplying many major dealers throughout the East Coast. In 1973, Frank was arrested by federal agents on tax evasion and drug trafficking charges. Stephen Morin was a man who was adept at flying under the radar. His drug addiction took over his life and he soon became a man outside the law. He had a few arrests for theft and drug possession. Buck Ruxton was a successful Indian-born doctor who had a medical practice in Lancashire at 2 Dalton Square. He was known to provide his services for free on several occasions when patients couldn’t afford them. By 1933, he had a wife, Isabella, three children and a housekeeper, Mary Jane Rogerson. But by the next year, cracks in their marriage started to show, as Buck frequently accused Isabella of infidelity and it would lead to many arguments between them. From May to September 2003, four young boys went missing in the Bahamas. These crimes, especially in a relatively safe nation like the Bahamas, sent shockwaves around the globe. Sharon Causse was a widow who was extremely lonely, so she went on a dating website. She matched with a man named Thomas Randolph, a widower who had already been married five times before. The two hit it off quickly, probably faster than Sharon’s friends might’ve liked. Within a short time, the two got married while on a cruise. But on May 8, 2008, everything changed. When they arrived at their Las Vegas home after a date, Sharon walked in before Thomas did. Then moments later, neighbors reported hearing several gunshots. Thomas frantically called the police, saying that a masked intruder broke into their home and shot Sharon, then he in turn shot and killed the intruder. As the investigation into this supposed home invasion continued, police found that there was more to the story. On January 20, 1983, someone called the police, telling them about a Cadillac Coupe Deville that was abandoned. It had been sitting in front of the Varuna Boat Club in Brooklyn for ten days. The police shook the car and initially determined that the truck was empty so they had it towed to the police department. When it got to the station, the trunk was opened and a man was found partially frozen behind a chandelier. He had numerous bullet wounds and had his hand in front of his face in a defensive position. Police identified him as Roy DeMeo, a mafia member who they were already investigating for numerous murders, drug trafficking and racketeering. On March 19, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri, Sharon Kinne heard a gunshot in her house and ran to the bedroom, only to find her husband James dead. Sharon told police that their two year old daughter, who had been allowed to play with James’s guns, had accidentally shot him. Police were unable to dispute this theory, so no charges were pressed. A month later, she got involved with Walter Jones, a car salesman that was still married. Sharon was the last person to meet with his wife Patricia, before she was found shot to death in a field. But due to a lack of physical evidence, she was found not guilty. Later on, she shot a man in Mexico, claiming self defense even though he was unarmed. She was sentenced to 13 years for the murder. Jorge Negromonte was a man who already had a violent temper. He killed a girl as a teenager and almost killed his own mother, using the money he stole from her to buy himself a house. He even threatened to kill all the guests at his wedding, forcing him and his wife Isabel to go into isolation. In 2002, the 40 year old Jorge met 16 year old Bruna at the gym. They would fall in love as Isabel accepted her into the fold, forming a love triangle between them. Overtime, Jorge came up with the idea of forming a sect between the three of them, which aimed to purify the Earth.
