In today’s episode, we set a new podcast record by taking for a solid hour about the Movies We’ve Seen (4:22) since last time, with all kinds of soul-feeding digressions into the genre of Netflix background movies, the repetitiveness of origin stories, the delusional nature of human beings, trilogies and Steven Spielberg in the ‘80s, and just how fucking great it is to see movies in person with other people.  We then take a quick detour into TV Talk (59:44) and The Friends Reunion before covering a little Entertainment News (1:09:48) and Denise Richards’s career performance in Tammy and the T-Rex.  This week’s Guess That Rotten Tomato Score features all 9(?) of Quentin Tarantino’s films (1:27:22), Patrick and Kelly present a pair of Hidden Gems (1:48:09), and Bo Burnham plays us out with the best content that came out of COVID lockdown.  Apologies to Chance Bostick… we’ll be discussing the new anime Lord of the Rings series next episode.
