al-Mugheera ibn Shu’ba رضي الله عنه (S57) When Sa’eed Ibn al-Aas رضي الله عنه was previously governor of Kufa, he conquered Tabristan, Jarjaan and settled the uprising in Azerbaijan. He was known for his incredible strength and bravery. Just as one searches for the new moon in Ramadan, people would search for Sa’eed on the battlefield to witness his show.
