Austin, Texas based DJ and Producer Michael Stewart, under the moniker Beat Tribe, has released a slew of techy, dark and atmospheric tracks to some critical acclaim. In 2012, his remix of Omid 16B's classic progressive house track "The Game" won him the grand prize and a few subsequent releases with both Omid's Alola Records as well as his other imprint, SexOnWax. Since then, Beat Tribe has been featured on numerous mix compliations, remixed for artists such as Soundgroove Records owner Curtis Atchison aka Midnight Society, Many Ward, Festiva, and more and his tracks have been featured on Barry Jaimeson's radio show. His work continues to defy labels and carves a unique musical niche out for himself.
