June 2, 2024 | Habakkuk: Nation in Turmoil | Habakkuk 1:1-11 Habakkuk was a prophet struggling with balancing the God of justice he knows and the injustice he witnessed in the nation. He struggled with holding on to God’s plan, promises, and power because his eyes told him that God wasn’t present. How can a good God allow such evil? The words of this prophet are so real for many of us today.   But God doesn’t just leave him to struggle with this. Demonization happens when a place or person is afflicted, controlled, or inhabited by varying degrees of demonic activity or power. The enemy has real power and influence in our life, but the good news is, we do not have to be afraid. He knows our weaknesses, he’s aware of our struggles, pain points and sin tendencies. This is why we need to understand his tendencies and the authority that we have in Jesus. When we understand our enemies’ tactics and methods we are enabled to stand in the power and authority that is ours in Jesus!
