When it comes to spiritual maturity it is the opposite of our view of maturity. The more we are dependent on God and recognize that we can do nothing in our own strength the more mature we are spiritually. July 21, 2024 | Dream Disciple: Bible Open | Proverbs  Humans are the greatest of earthly creature. Nothing else on earth has accomplished more than us. Built what we’ve built. We have the greatest of all minds and yet we still fall short in our ability to process spiritual things. Faith doesn’t say let go of all reason. Faith is asking you to follow something that cannot be seen, so intellect and reason won’t help where faith is concerned. Faith tells us when our intellect and reason are useful. July 7, 2024 | A Nation in Turmoil | Habakkuk 3:17-19 The beginning of chapter three of Habakkuk, he recounts the faithfulness, power, and glory of the God of the universe and in that he finds relief from his despair by resting in the hope that God can do what He’s done before.  Today we are going to talk about something that is a challenge for all of us. Rejoicing in suffering. This is the posture of the people that know and love God. As long as we live in this world we will face trials and pain, but we can still put our trust in the Lord and find hope in Christ!
