Carl and Mike come back with more college football talk and share thoughts on how important they believe it will be for LSU to have a successful season and it must start with them winning their season opener due to the fact the Tigers have not won a season opener since Brian Kelly has taken over.

Carl and Mike come back and react to speculations of Nick Saban returning to the sidelines to coach college football and as they discuss, both agree the legendary coach has nothing to prove by returning to coaching. They also share some thoughts on Hugh Freeze speaking and believe he did not appear to be bothered by the scrutiny he has been receiving in regards to being seen out playing golf during a time Auburn is preparing for the season.

Carl and Mike open up the show with some brief thoughts on the MLB home run derby and how well they believe the event was. They then get into some college football talk and share thoughts on Kirby Smart's comments in regards to the state of the college game and why he believes in regards to NIL, his challenge is the type of culture the amounts of money players are getting creates. They also react to sound from Gunner Stockton as he spoke about whether he feels like the Dawgs are his team.

Carl and Mike get into some Falcons talk as they react to breaking news of Garrett Wilson getting a new 4-yr, $130M contract extension and why they believe this will have an impact on how the Falcons will have to address Drake London contract talks, especially if he has another great season.

Carl and Mike come back and share some thoughts on FOX Sports 1 announcing the release of several shows which featured Keyshawn Johnson, Paul Pierce, Joy Taylor, Mark Schlereth and others. As they discuss, they weigh in on what route the network may go in regards to replacing the shows and talent.

They then get into some Braves talk and share thoughts on Ozzie Albies and why the team may have to make a decision on their future with the second baseman if his batting struggles continue.

Carl and Mike come back with more thoughts on the All-Star game and why they believe it is a "buzz kill' the event is in Atlanta however the Braves are having the type of season they are having.

Carl and Mike open up the show with a brief recap of their time off and then look ahead to the home run derby and all-star game as well as SEC Media Days. They then talk briefly about the Braves as they agree that the team seemingly cannot catch a break as they announced Austin Riley was placed on the 10-day IL. As their conversation continued, they share why they believe the team is caught in the crosshair and the front office has some 'tough decisions' to make if they decide to be buyers or sellers at the trade deadline.
