In the 4th hour of today's show, the guys hit the Falcons report. We hear from Bama Head Coach Kalen DeBoer.

Carl and Mike are joined by Connor Riley as they recap some of the highlights of Day 3 of SEC Media Days

Carl and Mike get into some Falcons talk and react to Kalen DeBoar's comments on Michael Penix Jr. in which he stated he believes Michael Penix Jr. will be able to showcase all he has to bring to the table to lead the Falcons offense. They also revisit their conversation with Bryson Eason who gave high praise of James Pearce Jr.

Carl and Mike are joined by Caleb Banks of Florida as he discusses how the Gators were able to turn season around late last year and why 'brotherhood' in and out the building is key for building the culture in the program.

Carl and Mike get into some of the latest NFL headlines and share some thoughts on the back and forth between Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft and they each claim they took "big risk" choosing to each other, Chiefs agree on a 4-year, $94M contract extension, Terry McLaurin not happy with the lack of contract discussions between he and the Commanders, and Shemar Stewart still not coming to a contract agreement with the Bengals.

Carl and Mike get into some more SEC talk and share thoughts on Texas and whether or not the Longhorns are becoming "the bad guys" and discuss if Steve Sarkisian will be able to get over the hump and win the championship. They then share thoughts on Oklahoma and why Brent Venables may not have made his mark and with a new AD taking over Sooners athletics, they believe Venables will have to "win some games" as his relationship with the new AD may not be established enough to create job security.

Carl and Mike come back and share some thoughts on the ABS Challenge being used in the All Star game and both agree that the system will be in play officially once the new CBA is reached. They then react to comments by Kalen DeBoar during his interview with The Morning Shift on Wednesday in which he discussed his relationship with Michael Penix Jr.

Carl and Mike open up the show as they share thoughts on the All Star game as Mike paintes the picture of the atmosphere and what the energy of the crowd was and both agreeing the summer classic may have been one of the best in recent history. They also share some thoughts on the home run swing off which determined the eventual outcome of the game as the National League picked up the win. And finally, they both agree the Hank Aaron tribute was phenomenal however hate the fact that the legendary MLB player is no longer with us and could have possibly been apart of it had the event not been moved in 2021.

Carl and Mike come back and get into some more All Star talk as Mike gives more insight on the vibe of the home run derby and the energy from the crowd once Matt Olson was up in the contest. As they discuss, they also explain why they believe the level of energy from Atlanta is not at the level they believe it would have been at if the team had several players participating or having a much better season.

Carl and Mike get into some Falcons talk and share thoughts about the type of season Kaden Ellis may have this year and if his impact will be one in which it will help the Falcons sacks numbers rise.

Carl and Mike come back and get into some brief thoughts on the excitement level of the All Star game taking place tonight here in Atlanta and discuss why the level may not be as high as it could be with the Braves playing so poorly this season.
