Originally discovered by Omid 16B with his grand prize winning remix of progressive house classic, "The Game", Beat Tribe aka Michael Stewart has gone onto remix the likes of Midnight Society, Peter Martin, Ariana Grade and more, release three full length LP's and create a niche all his own somewhere between industrial dance, deep house and tribal techno. His tracks and remixes push the limit of what "dance music" is and what it isn't.

Austin, Texas based DJ and Producer Michael Stewart, under the moniker Beat Tribe, has released a slew of techy, dark and atmospheric tracks to some critical acclaim. In 2012, his remix of Omid 16B's classic progressive house track "The Game" won him the grand prize and a few subsequent releases with both Omid's Alola Records as well as his other imprint, SexOnWax. Since then, Beat Tribe has been featured on numerous mix compliations, remixed for artists such as Soundgroove Records owner Curtis Atchison aka Midnight Society, Many Ward, Festiva, and more and his tracks have been featured on Barry Jaimeson's radio show.
