Ladies and gentlemen, football season is upon us! Oh well okay it's actually not, but this is the south and we talk about college football year round. The boys of ROTC are gearing up for their season previews, so take a listen as we react to some of the bigger storylines of the off-season!

In the midst of a sad ending, Chandler and Sam take the time to avoid overreacting and instead appreciate a strong, strong Ole Miss basketball season. Hitting on some highlights and stand out moments, here's the Welcome To The Tad Pod year in review wrap up of Ole Miss.

It's time for possibly the greatest sporting event in history: the opening weekend of March Madness! Seven different SEC teams are represented in this year's tournament, and while the big story is about how good the conference looked this year, we're more concerned about trivial matters like comparing each team's chances against each other! Basketball legend Keith Harkins leads the debate, and we're joined by ROTC champion Gray Barnes. It's a pretty bad episode! HEY! Wanna play in a bracket group with us? Mississippi State basketball had a pretty good month of February. Sure, there were two losses, but they were close losses against good opponents. 5 wins in a row followed that. So we're looking at what amounts to be a pretty much locked into the NCAA Tourney type of team. Nice! But hey, we're not done. There's good baseball going on right now! And football had a good recruiting class. So let's try to talk TOO MUCH about all of that.

In a week that was just okay for Ole Miss hoops, Chandler and Sam break down why two weird games played out probably the way they should have or needed to and ultimately, Ole Miss is in good shape looking ahead to the SEC and likely NCAA Tournament.

Chandler and Sam have TWO victories to talk about, and in a tough SEC this year, two victories in one week gives a lot to discuss.

It's time for one big fat stupid discussion about THE ALLIANCE! Also the NBA All-Star game is going on in the background as we record so we're all distracted but it's good. It's all very good.

Okay, so the loss at home to that OTHER school wasn't exactly what we wanted, but some of that is probably due to such a hot start to the year that we got our hopes up a little bit. It's a transition year still, and it's been a really good one, so let's not lose perspective.

Joseph and Gray talk about the up and down week in MSU basketball, with a rough loss to Kentucky, big time win over Auburn, and weird game against Alabama. What's up with this team right now? How can the trend be reversed? So on and so forth. 

We did a YouTube live stream! While no good could come from that, we figured we would at least upload some of the audio from it as we talked about the AAF and some other stuff.

Chandler and Sam Mooney jump back into the Ole Miss basketball discussion after a rough week. HOWEVER they won't let that get them down, and this episode is all about staying positive, the hardest thing for a sports fan to do.

Chandler is joined by Ole Miss alum and Oxford, MS based musician Sam Mooney in the second episode of Welcome To The Tad Pod. Ole Miss basketball still riding high, looking like one of the top teams in the conference, and responding to their first conference loss and a nagging injury to PG Devontae Shuler by thumping Arkansas pretty hard. With a rough start to what appears to be two low-key good conference teams, the Bulldogs have bounced back to win two in a row against SEC opponents. With a ROUGH stretch ahead in the league, let's look at the keys to victory and all that stuff that you're supposed to look at in a podcast.

Chandler, the resident Ole Miss beat writer for ROTC, sits down with noted basketball expert Keith, who definitely understands the game well, and they chat about the Roundball Rebels (okay that's a better nickname).

We went to a Mississippi State Basketball game! It didn't go well. I mean, it was okay, it's probably just more annoying that Ole Miss is good at basketball? I dunno.

The MSU basketball team returned from Christmas and presented one of the most underwhelming performances of the season. What was to blame? Officiating? The late start time? Christmas itself? Who knows, but either way, the proper way to respond is to win this weekend.

Winners and losers! All sports have them, even those where you can tie. With the season behind us, it's time for us to look at who we thought were winners and losers in this glorious SEC, where it just means MORE, DANGIT
